Great place!!

Great place to stay overnight while doing the Alp 2 Ocean bike ride. Very nice people, great food and service.
Everything was perfect, dinner was excellent, good choice of wine and great venue. I also had a great breakfast before carrying on the trail towards Oamaru.

An elegantly restored historic gem

I remember when this beautiful historic building was a secondhand shop where nothing was ever for sale! This is a vast improvement. It's been gorgeously renovated and has spacious, elegant, quiet,comfortable rooms and a cafe attached where a set menu is served for those staying there. Absolutely delicious food and a great location wine selection. Jess is a fantastic host.

Delightful accommodation in Kurow

Such a delightful stay! Elegant and spacious rooms in the back of a wonderful cafe. We stayed here during our cycling trip on the Alps to Ocean Trail. Jess and her team made us very welcome, including scones on arrival, a delicious dinner, and a great packed lunch for our cycling the following day!
Kurow is a great little village!

LOVELY QUIET PLACE TO STAY

I stayed here as part of an Alps2Ocean Cycle Tour and was very impressed by the staff and room. It had a big, comfortable bed, excellent lighting, great shower and another small sitting/ reading room with 2 chairs. We had dinner and breakfast here, both excellent, unless you want a cooked breakfast. Kate the owner was lovely as were the other staff. Just a couple of small things: there is no shampoo in the bathrooms. You need to ask for it. Also, there is no air-conditioning.

Wow! Great stay !

Jess looked after us so well, stayed 3 nights in this cute town, ate in house 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Room v comfortable, great bed, slept well. No hesitation in recommending. Will return! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming in this town :-)
