2 nights in ashburton

We stay here for my wife’s aunty’s funeral .the rooms were okay had all the amenities. Parking is so good als right outside your door. The food in the restaurant and bar was excellent beautifully cooked and so tasty we stayed the 2 nights there and only eat there but was beautiful meal again staff were great also

Disappointing stay

A disappointing stay at the hotel. The room was freezing cold and we couldn't get it warmed up, despite the heat pump. The shower in the bathroom was terrible and offered a meagre trickle with no water pressure.
The room and in fact the whole hotel is tried and old fashioned. We were really disappointed after paying reasonably high money for an overnight stay.
I would highly recommend the management throw some money to upgrade the decor and facilities, and definitely get rid of showers over the baths - they are a health hazard.

This hotel maybe older but the beds are comfy, the staff are lovely and food is good and easy parking.

Great stay, very quiet, clean, easy parking, comfortable bed,sky sports in the room, and dinner in the restaurant was perfect/ high score for our dinners!!!
