Relaxed stay

The hotel is located directly on the main road and is therefore very easy to reach by car. The covered parking spaces directly at the hotel are especially practical. Although these are a bit tight, they offer good protection for the vehicle.
The hotel impresses with a stylish and pleasant ambiance. A special highlight is the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy the sun in the evening and let the day wind down in a relaxed way.
All of the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating. You feel welcome and well taken care of as a guest.
Overall, the hotel is a very good choice for a pleasant stay. The good accessibility, the beautiful ambiance, and the outstanding service make the stay especially recommendable.

Excellent Location, Lovely Staff and Great Breakfast

The hotel is in an excellent location, and both the breakfast and staff were lovely. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and overall my wife and I had a very pleasant stay.
A few improvements could make the experience even better. It would be great to have bathroom slippers provided as a standard amenity in all rooms. The toiletries could also be upgraded from refillable pump dispensers to more premium, spa-style bath gels and shampoos.
For breakfast, it would be helpful to have a few more options for guests who eat chicken or vegetarian food. For example, chicken sausages or a greater variety of vegetarian breakfast items would be a welcome addition.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

Best hotel in Tønsberg

A stay at the Club gives you a perfect location in the heart of Tønsberg – right by the harbor and the city's life, with Slottsfjellet nearby.
The hotel has a modern and cozy atmosphere, and the stay feels both comfortable and inviting. The food in the hotel's restaurants was exceptionally good and is absolutely worth experiencing.
An extra plus is the great shows and events offered. It makes a stay at the Club more than just a hotel stay – here you get a complete experience with good food, entertainment, and a fantastic location.
Overall a place I would like to visit again, and which I can warmly recommend

Excellent hotel

Super nice hotel down to the water. Super nice rooms, fantastic breakfast and the restaurant, The Roof, on the 8th floor, was absolutely fantastic with the most beautiful view. Furthermore, the food was really good.

Excellent hotel all round

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here in August 2026 to attend the midgardsblot festival in Borre.
Service/reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Number of breakfast options with plenty of seating and the food was a good standard.
Room was well proportioned with a decent shower, large sized bed and included an iron and drink making facitilies which is welcome.
The hotel is close to the waterfront as well, where there are many great restaurants and bars to eat and drink.
Only takes a bout 10 minutes to reach from the train station and is easy to find.
A couple of minutes away is the main central area of Tønsberg which has a kiwi mini supermarket as well as a pharmacy and other essentials. So the hotel is well placed in all respects.
