Lovely mountain lounge with top food and service

Incredibly nice space with good atmosphere and staff who did everything for us to be happy with our stay!
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary we had booked both cabin and room. Cosy decorated and clean everywhere. Good beds. Children and dogs were welcome.
We were assigned basement lounge without having booked it in advance! They made everything we asked for and made sure that we had a wonderful day at Lifjellstua.
All food on the ala carte menu tasted delicious.
We will definitely return!

Bad and noisy experience

Lifjellstua gives a good first impression. Except for OK food, the rest quickly falls apart. I had ordered a mountain room and had a dog. Walls and doors are thin as cardboard, and it is very listening (there are earplugs on the sink). Narrow the front door again, shake it all over the building. There was a bunch of people going to the wedding the next day and they had a very cheerful team in the evening at the reception. It was in short distance to the bedrooms. Kl. 22:15 I asked the reception if it was appropriate to dampen it a little, or move a little further away from the bedrooms since any conversation and halloi could be heard in the rooms, (whether you want a quiet evening or sleep). Then the receptionist looked a little taffy. He tried to use earplugs, while serving alcohol with both hands to people who were well drunk. I asked if they had any rest times in their sleep, but that was obviously an unknown term. The followers moved to a dining cabin just outside, but then the window had to be closed to calm the halo. There was little sleep, until I was awakened by the bellsight that grassed outside my window at 07:00! It is unserious to keep the hotel open to other guests when a large follow gets noisy as much as they want. My dog refused to eat while we were there. It was very poor charging before hiking in the mountains. I complained in the morning, then got refunded the next night's amount and check out. A real relief!

Magical and dog friendly place! Recommended!

Fight nice great place to stay!
Lots of nice walks in the area, quiet and quiet with great views. Great food and drinks. The service was 10/10 with incredibly friendly staff! Had with 2 dogs who were warmly welcome! We'll be back!
