Lonly travel

Its nice place to stay and speciallythanks to swostika the front desk officer ia very helpfull. Educated nice behavior friendly. I love the hotel because of his helpful Behaviour . she is gental and nice girl.... She provide me a lot information about nepal.. My apending time is very good because of his informatio. She makes 20% discounton spa for me.

Very good experience

Very nice hotel located in the centre of the city. Large room, with all the amenities and very comfortable, large bed. Having the room directly next to the reception and by the street meant there was a lot of noise though. The staff was lovely and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good and diverse - I also loved the restaurant's interior design. The spa treatment I chose (the 2.5h package) was of excellent quality. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that despite adding bills from the restaurant and the spa to my room charge I was still forced to make three separate transactions - which meant paying three separate foreign currency transaction fees. Also, I was informed by the hotel staff member that hotel guests are given 20% discount for spa treatments, which wasn't actually true. It doesn't change the fact that the value of the treatment was still very good and absolutely worth it. It's a perfect hotel for those who want to be in the centre of Kathmandu, however bear in mind that it comes with a lot of noise - so if that's an issue, it might not be the best choice. I wanted to be in a close distance to major touristic places, so I still enjoyed it though.

Excellent

I stayed as it was recommended by a friend - now I know why. This is a great hotel, fantastic service and great location for shopping. Room spacious and very clean with modern bathroom.
Wonderful spa on the premises is a bonus and bar & restaurant on top floor with great view and live music.
Highly recommended for those on a budget.

Nice room, great service

The property is located right on the road at Thamel. It has a nice restaurant at the top and a spa just below the hotel. The room was cozy and nice for the price we paid. The spa was excellent. We did foot massage and was very relaxing. Steam was okay. There was free excellent yummy breakfast for us at the restaurant on the top.
The only no so good things were: It was Nepalese New Year eve and the place was overcrowded. Somebody even knocked on our door late at night at around 1:00 AM, we felt a little disturbed and then thought those maybe the drunk guys who might have forgotten their room numbers.
The driver who came to pick us up at the airport was rude and unfriendly.
