Comfortable after Etosha

I chose to stop in Tsumeb because it was a convenient stop after visiting Etosha, about an hour from the Namutoni gate.... it was a good choice and also a discovery, because the village is nice and proved to be a good stop.
The guesthouse did not disappoint expectations, of course when we arrived, we had to play a lot for someone to come and open us (and it was all already closed cafeteria and shops), but then the Welcoming was kind and the accommodation really up to scratch. Large room, with a mini kitchenette, and everything you need for brai (we had the equipment and the food would have been perfect). Everything clean and organized. Automatic gate and secure parking space.
The next morning it was all more "lively", cafe (where we had breakfast) and hairdresser attached!. Good breakfast, great omelette.
However, I would definitely recommend...

Horrible Business Stay

The worst WiFi connection. I'm on a business trip and I can't even work .
The TV plays with interference & showers. Sometimes the room is dirty. But the breakfast, the omelette is one of the best .
I have stayed there twice but last time I just had to move to another place .

It is with great disappointment and regret that we assisted your company to book you in.
You do not pay your accommodation as your company does however you give yourself to traveling around, criticizing and reviewing online.
From the moment you came to stay we could see that you are not a customer that is easily satisfied.
The entire country experienced bad internet connection that week you stayed here. The TV dish had been blown out of signal the night before you came and we were busy having that addressed.
Your room was checked and it was definitely not dirty.
We do not wish to accommodate you in future and warn other establishments of your demeaning entitled behavior.

just what was needed

i wanted to stay at the local hotel but they were full and, as i had passed the B&B on my way into town and it looked good I googled the property, called and checked all rooms were air conditioned - which they are, and booked. nice friendly owner who offered dinner (pre prepared to heat in microwave in room) foc as they had a cancellation which was rather nice. big well appointed room with efficient A/C and fridge. comfy bed and nice area in garden (equipped with swings and kids play area) to eat dinn or enjoy a bought in beer (no licence). hearty brekky with bacon and eggs- thoroughly recommended

Good

The rooms were clean and very cosy well decorated, it's your home away from home. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Safe area with secure parking. Aircon is perfect. Had a great stay there.

Travel North Guesthouse

It was the second time I visited the Tsumeb area and also the second time that I stayed at Travel North Guesthouse. The rooms are clean, comfortable and you feel at home "away from home". The breakfast are excellent and the staff treats every guest as the only guest.
