My soul connected with the world again. I belong.

Our villa had a heated pool. Surrounded by wildlife with a dream view of the mountain range in th background.
Now, I can say I have experienced the best of the African continent in Namibia. Do not live cheap. YOLO

A Must-Stay First Stop in Namibia

A must-stay when you first land in Namibia before starting any big trip.
Naankuse Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary was a beautiful experience from the moment I arrived. The rooms were comfortable, the meals were high quality, and the whole place felt peaceful and welcoming. One big plus was learning that a Deaf chef is part of the kitchen team and makes delicious food — that made the experience even more meaningful for me.
I highly recommend staying here and supporting their wildlife sanctuary work.

Disastrous experience

Forget this place. The staff is definitely unsympathetic. Uncomfortable rooms, the bathroom mirror is placed so high that unless you measure 1m85 no chance of seeing each other. Carry your luggage yourself, no water in the room and bottles at the reception are charged. As long as in the restaurant room, a canteen is better organized. You are given the drinks menu but nothing is available. For the food, it is a buffet little provided and really not appetizing.

Honeymoon experience

Me and my wife spent time in the lodge at Naankuse. It was so so special. We had a lodge booked and the sunset gave us incredible views of many giraffes. The accommodation was clean and exceptional quality. The food was exceptional at the lodge. The pool was the cleanest we have seen in Namibia. The service was exceptional also. A special place and a must see for travellers through Namibia.

The property was great. The houses are dated a bit but overall a nice secluded spot.
