The secret valley

Located on a beautiful valley among hills and mountains, Desert Hills Glamping Camp is a peaceful retreat where one can relax, take in the fantastic views and reflect in silence. You get the camping experience in great comfort. Spectacular views from a very comfortable bed, a delicious menu every day from the excellent chef and an opportunity to walk in the surrounding valley or the dunes in Sesriem with Mr T., the local guide in situ, who has some great stories to share...

An oasis of peace in a breathtaking setting

From the first moment we were warmly welcomed by the manager, who immediately provided a warm and personal welcome. The restaurant offers a high-quality culinary experience, with dishes prepared with care and a service that really leaves nothing to be desired.
The drive there is an adventure in itself: via a steep path you reach a hidden valley surrounded by imposing mountains. Once you arrive, a view awaits that makes you quiet — literally and figuratively. Here there is a silence that you rarely find anywhere. An absolute must for those who appreciate peace, beauty and Welcoming.

Beautiful.

Two nights in this camp located in nowhere and so the starry nights were spectacular. The tastefully decorated tent, functional bathroom as well as the shower. Beware of water consumption being in the desert. Spectacular sunset! Good dinners and the staff very kind and helpful. We made the hike to Sossusvlei and it was amazing also thanks to our guide, Mr. T. (fabulous). Regenerating infinity pool given the heat. Highly recommended!!!

Ronald and Abby for the win

Desert Hill Glamping Camp was an absolute highlight of the trip for us. The location of the camp is simply beautiful, quiet, idyllic and surrounded by pure nature. However, we will also remember the employees in particular. Ronald and Abby were incredibly warm, lovely, funny and helpful. But the other employees are also top. Our guide, Mr. T., took his job incredibly seriously and gave it his all. He is a passionate guide and proud of his work. We recommend that everyone: Visit the Glamping Camp and get to know the wonderful team.

Wonderful Tented camp in the desert

We spent a few nights in this new tented camp in the desert. It's wonderful, all great facilities, Welcoming, availability, cleanliness, amenities, food, scenery, peace and silence superlatives.
Would stay again and highly recommend
