Friendly service great food and cocktails

We spent 2 days in Bagan that were enhanced by our stay at this pleasant hotel. Friendly attentive service with large clean rooms and great vegetarian options for all meals . Enjoyed the lush gardens and rooftop cocktails!!

Nice hotel far away from center - think about it when need some km on your e-bike

I write some messages before we coming, but they forget for my inquiries. They can not realize, that we had 2 bookings, than it was hard at first morning - the staff is poorly speaking English. They give us prices for e-bike rental (9k), but was higher on the spot (10k), at the city was for 6k for full and 3k for half day. We broke one glass, 2days before check out, but they charged us when we go away. We need to wait for a lady to check the room, for the bill, and we afraid that we left our boat to Mandalay. There are many Chinese tourists, who spitting to pool and around pool, than I was happy not going inside the water, because the water was cold. But I get retching of them. Also, these tourist are so noisy, than at the afternoon we enjoy the pool and the garden, but when they coming back, the hotel was noisy. At the morning the same... when they leaving the hotel for day-trips. Good things: beautiful garden, pool view, good breakfast, nice and spacious room. We ate here a la cart, and the curries was beautiful. Prices are fine in the restaurant.

Excellent

Super nice staff, everyone from security to reception, good english and helpful. The room is clean, and the bed was excellent. Good and hot shower. They have some electric motorcycles for rent (best choice to explore temples around). Super close to the Shwe Pi bus station and airport, not so close to the center, but if you want to relax this is the place. Only the WiFi didn’t work so well in the room, works better in the pool and restaurant.

Amazing stay with patient welcoming staff

We took overnight bus from Yangon to Bagan and stayed at Emerald Hotel for two nights. Again, we arrived the hotel early in the morning 5am and they always have a staff standby at the reception for check in anytime. The hotel is very close to the bus station (10 minutes walk) yet slightly far away from the Old Bagan (temple area).
The hotel provides various services for us to tour around Bagan. We rent an E-bike (8000Kyat for 8hrs) to stroll round the Pagoda temples in the Old Bagan area. We also hired their private driver to bring us to Mont Popa.
Bagan doesn’t have many choices for food. We stayed at the hotel for breakfast and dinner. They offer great range of Asian/ Western and local food.
We had a pleasant stay, thank you!

Fantastic hotel

My partner and I are currently staying at the Bagan Emerald Hotel and we absolutely love it here!
The rooms are so spacious and clean and what is classed as a”King” bed is actually huge and very comfortable.
The shower is powerful and plenty of hot water. What I love the most about this hotel is the Swimming Pool, it is a good size and so relaxing to unwind as the area is so quiet and tranquil.
The staff are very professional, friendly and will do anything for you.
The location of the hotel is near the airport but if you like to stay slightly out of the centre this will be perfect as you can simply hire a scooter to explore the temples, new bagan and old bagan or simply hire a driver from the airport for the day for 40 dollars who you will have all day for 8 hours!
We did both and was so worth it.
Breakfast has plenty of options to choose from including fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, and local dishes like “Mohinga” and sticky rice and beans. Tea and coffee and fresh fruit juice.
I would definitely stay again!
