Excellent Moldovan food and vodka in the village
Our meal included local cheese bread, delicious chicken noodle soup with vegetables, pork and polenta. All delicious
Service was quick and personal. Delicious bread and full fat sour cream and hot peppers to each of our tastes. No background noise
The venue is open aire with roof cover and a large cool yard with hammock chairs
Parking is free. The historical venue makes access a challenge yet possible with unpaved walking path.

Very nice guesthouse and very good hosts
The rooms are good and bathrooms are big
The breakfast was delicious and had good varieties
The host are a very nice middle aged couple who served us very nicely and provided us all kind of help
Really a good place to stay if you are visiting Moldova

Lovely Location: Did not care about us much.
My friend and I were on a road trip, and stayed here for one night. The room was OK, the location was pretty, the food was uninteresting, and the service not so great.
As we did not speak Russian or Romanian, the family could not speak to us. But they also showed minimal interest in us - if we were comfortable or were looking for breakfast or coffee. They had their daughter (young teens) serve our meals, and it was not her favourite thing to be doing. She spoke a little bit of English.
The biggest issue was that when it came to check out, they said they would not accept credit cards. I held the room on a credit card, so we expected to pay by card. It said nothing about "Moldovan cash only" when we made the reservation.
They would not accept our Romanian money nor our American money, nor our credit cards. Between the two of us, we happened to have enough Euros to pay for the night.
I would not recommend Valea Stancii
