NO ME RESPETARON LA RESERVACION ME PASARON A OTRO HOTEL ADEMAS NO ME DIERON EL CONTROL DEL AIRE ACONDICIONANDO CUANDO SE PAGO

A clean oasis amid a filthy inner city

I was shocked to see the trash strewn about the streets in the area of the hotel. Also, I caught strong whiffs of urine as I approached it. Fortunately, the hotel itself The hotel was very clean. My small room, in fact, seemed to have been passed through a sterilizer. The staff was very attentive. For a quick overnight stay before going to the airport, this hotel can be recommended.
About Tuxtla, where I lived and enjoyed living for twenty-one years: it is very sad to see how much the downtown has been neglected: streetlamps with their globes broken, from which the wires spill like guts, once attractive restaurants behind the cathedral turned into cheap ill-painted and poorly-lighted eateries and dry fountains filled with trash.

Great location, excellent value, very clean

We stayed for two nights on our way to San Cristobal de las Casas. The Hotel is located in the very heart of the city, just a block from the Cathedral and the main Plaza. The cleanest hotel we had in Mexico. Friendly, professional staff. Excellent value.. 400 Peso for the two beds room with ventilator. The only drawback.. It is quite loud..

Pretty average

We stayed there for one night before our flight back. The rooms are very small and the lobby may have a car parked right in it. It is self service so if you want to check a room you have to lug your luggage upstairs yourself. It has hot water and you can chose a room with AC. It also has a plasma tv. The thing that worried us was the windows are barricaded with iron bars and there is no outlet from the room in case of a fire except from the door. Also this is not the best location. The next day, the receptionist was a great person who helped us get a cab for the airport. He took great pains to make sure we got the right one (however the woman at the reception was not helpful at all). The ride to the airport cost 200 pesos but we were charged 250 (just an fyi in case you take a cab to the airport)
