Comfort, Hospitality and Luxury in an Oasis
The staff at the front desk and lobby were lovely. We stayed in a Signature Casita. I absolutely love the fact that this isn’t a giant towering hotel/resort. The rooms are all nestled within the greenery and each room is spacious, private and with a large balcony. You do need to take a cart to get to the beach but they are readily available and it’s a beautiful ride.
There is always plenty of room at the beach and pools but we’re beach people and spent our time there. I was worried about sargassum but it was a non-issue. The barrier does an amazing job of keeping it off the beach.
Now for the food: AMAZING! The breakfast had such a huge variety. Our dinners at Tauro and Fuego were unforgettable. Tauro’s drinks and menu were top notch and the scenery on the sand at Fuego is unmatched. Our hands down favorite, though, was lunch at Brisas. The soft breeze flowing through the restaurant, food and service is one we won’t forget.
Saving the best for last - the staff and service. Every single person from housekeeping to grounds crew always greeted with a smile. The level of hospitality is unmatched. There are too many outstanding staff to mention but Ezequiel by the beach pool, Paula always greeting with a smile at breakfast, Eva and her amazing tacos, Eduardo at Fuego and of course Daniel at Brisas. A place is only as good as its people and Fairmont is the gold standard with its staff.
