good view ，but too far to walk from different part. food very good of the restraunt . also very far from city center. hard to ta

hotel is big .but far from city center . gym and swiming pool is good. the room is clean but flavour is not fresh enough. food is nice.

Beautiful place and delicious food

A lovely place. The most delicious food. There is a golf course with super comfortable rooms nearby. They also have the hull part of the hacienda. The Sunday law firm barbecue is very good. There are romantic experiences you can live there. There's a handicrafts tiangus. It's a very quiet place.

My experience at Hacienda Soltepec

The visit to the Hacienda was bittersweet, this is because on the one hand the pool area is very neglected, it lacks a lot of maintenance and even though there is a sign advertising 29 degrees in the water, it is cold. It is also not suitable for elderly people because it only has a staircase not very secure for access. Right there, the watering cans are dirty, dark, old and also need maintenance or renovation.
In the shower of the room they put a glass holder and there is nowhere to put the shampoo, soap, etc., so they must be put on the floor.
There is nowhere to hang towels and they suggest saving water and energy. Where do you hang them so they don't change them???
They posted on Facebook that from April 8 there would be a seafood menu and upon arrival they told us that there was an error in the dates and that it would be from April 14.
The staff is generally very attentive, both in the cafeteria, in the restaurant and even in the parking lot. Watchmen take care of cars 24 hours a day. We really got very attentive and friendly staff.
The food is good although it lacks variety, except the tongue that was hard and too golden for my taste. And yet it is better to order à la carte than the buffet since it is expensive and with little variety and obligatory on weekends without taking into account that there are people who like to order à la carte more.
The hacienda has many stairs and no ramps for people with mobility difficulties or for prams. They don't even have railings.
They have wifi, however there is no good sign in all areas.
They advertise horseback riding and craft workshops and upon arrival told us that they are only available on Saturdays and Sundays, even though those who provide these services say they can perform them any day. There seems to be a misunderstanding of information with reception. (The bad thing is that you can only contact them through reception)
Another situation is that you have to make a reservation in advance otherwise they do not give you the service or workshop.

Service is on the decline

We went on Monday because we wanted a la carte breakfasts (as there are usually weekdays) We arrived and it turns out that they only had buffet breakfast, with minimal options (3 stews plus juice and fruit) for $300 pesos. We did not want the breakfast buffet because on previous occasions on Saturday the buffet had not been good at all and at a high price for the quality / food options. The waiter only offered us a la carte options eggs to taste or chilaquiles. We opted for chilaquiles, which were disappointing. The service was also very bad from the waiters. In general the estate seems to be in decline, facilities and service too neglected. It is a pity because we have been customers for many years worse previous tables have been LOUSY!
