Great spot in downtown of Colima

We had stayed at another hotel just 2 or 3 doors down but this was by far the better deal. The rooms were small but perfect for coming back to and relaxing. There are only 10 rooms and all have great wifi coverage from what I could tell. A roof top open terrace overlooking the square across the street and a covered cafeteria space under that. The staff were warm, welcoming and great hosts.
Highly suggest!

Solid choice in downtown Colima

Easy and quick check-in and check-out process. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. The ductless split air conditioner is off until the guest turns it on, so the rooms are initially hot and humid. There is no air conditioning in the bathroom. No elevators.

Great option in Colima’s Downtown

Colima is known as a nice small city with full of friendly people. If you are planning to visit the downtown this is a good option.
Is located just in front of the Nuñez Garden, a couple of blocks from the cathedral with a lot of restaurants and typical food options.
Rooms are big enough, really clean and comfortable, they have a indoor parking lot. Great cost-benefit balance

Good Small Hotel

This property is located on the Plaza Nunez in the downtown area. It is a small hotel with a very attractive lobby / entrance. Check-in was easy - we were expected. There is no elevator so it was necessary to use the stairs to access the rooms. There was a sitting area where coffee, tea and cookies were served in the morning and evening.
The room was small but nicely decorated. There is only one window to the hallway so there was no cross draft but there was A/C. The bathroom was new and very nice as were the linens and towels.
The hotel was quiet at night.
The cost was very reasonable given the location and room. There is no breakfast but they do offer cookies, coffee etc in the morning and evening.
We would consider staying here again.

Somewhat what I expected for the price paid

Pros:
Clean
Inexpensive
Parking
Central
Air-Conditioning
Two small bottles of complimentary water
Friendly Staff
Safe/Amenities/Cable TV
Free morning coffee and cookies
Cons:
Paper thin walls where everything is heard, no matter how far away
There are no windows in bathroom or room, save the one facing the communal corridor. Everyone keeps this window closed and curtain pulled. Calling it a “window “ is an exercise in humor.
The rooms feels like a cell and bathroom smells of “sewage”
If anybody else (in the hotel) decides to use water while you’re showering you will either be scalded or have a cold plunge experience.
The LED of the air-conditioner is so bright the entire room remains lit should you decide to sleep with the air on.
No blankets, just a top sheet.
The hotel met the expectations I had for the money paid.
