A Haven to come back to
The people that work at W. Mexico City are fabulous. The concierges, especially David, we're most helpful and seem like a friend who wants to make sure you have the best possible experience in their City. They can arrange anything. They can suggest the best options too.
The room we had was unusual in that. For some reason the bathroom and shower area was right at the front of the room by the window. The shower was great and we had two sinks for a double Queen room. There was one robe but we asked for another and it appeared. They have slippers too. Bring your suit because they have hot tubs, pools and also a spa.
The area is very very safe. Don't hesitate walking around. They're a lovely walking paths shaded by trees and you are right next to the biggest park I've ever seen, Chapultlepec. This is a very modern trendy area with of higher-end restaurants and bars mixed with little holes in the wall. It is close to a major shopping Street. Big box stores like Apple without attitude anywhere.
Fyi, if you are going back to your room midday it may or may not be cleaned yet, we caught the maid when we were coming back from a market to drop stuff off and just told her we didn't need anymore cleaning. She did the beds and gave us a couple of extra towels and we were happy.
They have a roof indoor bar with great views and balconies for views, but try the first floor's bar/restaurant for a great atmosphere in an indoor outdoor feeling. If you smoke you can smoke there but nowhere else on the premises. My friend lit up a couple cigars and we sat in the corner which was kind of nice. We had the best conversation with one of our servers who really knew his wine and helped direct us. The wine is delicious. Do try Mexican wine.

Dirty and dated. Avoid
Nice exterior. Everything else is dirty and very dated. The room reminds me of a kitschy old motel in Vegas. This is not a 5 star hotel.

The design of the room is awkward and putting the washroom next to the window and there is no window in the bedroom.
The worst part is the soundproofing, as there is no partition between the bedroom and outside.
Door slamming occurs in the early morning and couldn’t get a good sleep.
This is a design fault, otherwise it’s a nice hotel with excellent staff.
BTW, the breakfast is one of the best I had.
Hopefully, the hotel can resolve the problem.

The staff is very friendly and room was well maintained and kept very clean. Love the laundry same day service! The resturant food was very good as well as lots of menu options. Will be back to stay for a week.

Overall the experience was just okay. The property and rooms were super dated and bathrooms small with limited privacy.
