A very cozy place
Breakfast was simple but very rich, we very much appreciate Victoria's attention and what she cooked at the time to complement the morning meal.
The bad thing I could mention is that when we arrived they were with a hot water problem, which was solved during the day. And that our room had no hairdryer, which considering it is winter is important not to sleep or go out with wet hair, but was fixed at the end of the next day.
Also, there was a problem with the pipes sounding too much, and I listened to every step guests took upstairs. Isolation needs to be improved.

Good location but not worth it
I asked staff member Victoria if they offered a laundry service, she said yes and charged $200 pesos for small load of laundry which I thought was expensive, a couple of days later I asked a women who appeared to be the manager how much laundry was and she said they didn’t offer that service so it appears I had been scammed. Other places charge 30-40 pesos.
There’s a male staff member who is very arrogant and unhelpful.
The plumbing is very noisy from downstairs, I was woken up middle of the night most nights.
I had two sleepless nights from a dripping shower head for which I wasn’t offered any compensation.
Something else to note is there’s no fridge, fan or aircon.
The only positive is the good location.
Don’t stay in room 7! You have been warned.

Needs upgrading
Ok so on to the property. It’s in the middle of a very friendly neighborhood (Condesa) with young adults jogging in the middle of the street walkway. Kids walking their dogs. And people sitting outside cafes while chatting in nicely lit areas.
You enter the gate of Stella’s B&B and it’s a beautiful quiet garden. The host, Vicky greeted us, gave us a key and told us where the room was. Our room was the last one up the stairs with its own bathroom and private terrace.
We walk in and we get a slight sewer and humid (mold?) smell. I go into the bathroom and looks like the cleaning person forgot an old, dried up, dirty cleaning rag. I don’t make a big deal out of it hoping those are the only issues.
Then we notice there’s no bath towels. So I need to get in touch with Vicky but she never gave a number for us to call. I go downstairs and she seems to be in her room watching tv that is loud. I called out her name but no response. I try again and nothing. Mind you, I don’t want to yell her name out and I’d like to just go back to our room but how will we dry ourselves? So finally I yelled out her name and she comes out. I let her know about the towels and she apologizes and gives me some. I ask if there’s a better way to reach her and she said the way I called her out by her room was the way. The next morning we had to leave early for a tour like 7:30am and we wanted coffee. She had mentioned to holler at her so she could tell us how to use the expresso machine but I would think guests are still sleeping and we didn’t feel comfortable yelling for her. So we just left . The last night there we noticed our shower curtain was missing. Also, there was water coming out from the tile bathroom floor by the sinks. This is a nice place but needs a lot of renovations. Old dusty table and wood frames. Smelled like sewer and moisture. Not a very attentive host. Not worth the amount we paid per night.
