Great staff and great hotel!

Great staff!! Luxurious hotel with lovely staff! The room was very nice and housekeeping came every day with desserts. A full mini bar was included the first night. The food at the restaurants was good and it was nice that everything was all in one place. The area was safe and full of restaurants and other shops. The hotel is beautifully decorated and I can’t wait to see them expand and keep growing as it’s a new hotel. Wishing you all the best Hotel Casona!

Only for late night clubbers

If you sleep well to techno, this is the hotel for you. Otherwise, stay away. Loud music emanates from both the club on the roof or the one across the street, Wed - Sat till midnight or 1am. The hotel itself is modern and sheik, but a good night’s sleep is not in the cards. I would not recommend.

Noise issues and untrained staff

This hotel is trying to provide a good product; They provide welcome drinks, little treats at night and beautifully redecorated spaces. However, if you don't have the basics of hotel service down, provide a good night's sleep and helpful, knowledgeable staff, then the "extras" aren't worth much. Staff was friendly but unable to provide accurate information. Music venues on the floor and roof made sleep next to impossible. I think La Casona could be a great hotel, they just need to figure out what their priorities are--whether they want to be a club/restaurant or a hotel.

Don’t waste your money

The nightclub on the roof played ridiculously loud music until 2:30 am, it was impossible to sleep. Several rooms complained to the manager but it did not stop. Otherwise the service was very average. Lots of staff but they spend more time speaking to each other than actually servicing the guests. Not worth the money or the hassle to stay here.

Hotel La Casona - great arrangements!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Prior to arriving, I requested two things: to have a driver pick us up at the airport; and to change our dinner reservations, if we were delayed in traffic. They were outstanding in providing great service with both requests - the driver was waiting at the airport, holding our name on a sign just after going through customs!
The room we were provided was charming; breakfast was ample; and the location, in the La Condessa area, was fantastic! We enjoyed walking everywhere; Uber is inexpensive; and we did our best to take in the many museums, churches and delicious restaurants that Mexico City has to offer.
