Great Isla Apartments

We have rented from Candes Apartments for many years from 2 weeks to three months... We have always found the properties well kept, clean, comfortable, well stocked and would recommend them to anyone visiting Isla Mujeres. Cande and son Abdiel are easy to communicate with, very responsive and will do whatever is needed to make you feel welcome and comfortable... Highly Recommend...

Excellent for the price.

I just shared the two bedroom apartment at Cande with a friend. . It could easily sleep 6. Everything was excellent, especially for the price. I highly recommend recommend it.
Only con was that there is no view from the room , but there is a rooftop desk with loungers and a table and chairs which would be great for a family meal , etc.

Wonderful apartments and wonderful owners

We always spend a month on the island and have always stayed in the same place but this year we had to look for someplace else as our old standby had been sold. I never in my wildest dreams thought we would be able to find something that felt just like a second home. But we did! We absolutely love this place. It is perfectly located as it is close to everything you need....stores, beaches, restaurants, laundromat, etc. And it isn't noisy which sometimes is a problem when in the downtown area. We also cook a lot of our meals and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook. There is also drinking water that is refilled whenever you need it. I also like that there are plenty of shelves, drawers, etc. to store all of the stuff we always bring with us.
There are several apartments to choose from. We chose Mar b/c that one has its own balcony and we love having that private outside space. The other units (this one too) have an easy access to a rooftop terrace which is excellent and you have views of the sea off the east side of the island. The air conditioning works great as does the wifi.
The owners of this place have been wonderful and all communication has been efficient and right on. Anytime we need anything, someone has taken care of us immediately. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough and we love it so much that we have already booked for next summer. If you are looking for an awesome apartment, check out Cande's Apartments. It is a great spot and we will be back!
