Real Morocco. Lovely place.

We have recently enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay at Route de Miel as part of a weeks' holiday in the Agadir area of Morocco. Karim was a great host and we received a very warm welcome. The hotel is a calm oasis in Aourir. Beautifully decorated with a lovely pool and garden. Very peaceful and relaxing. We loved watching the tortoises wandering about! Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were offered an evening meal and breakfast. We had one delicious evening meal and two traditional Moroccan breakfasts which were fantastic. I recommend you take up the offer. Although not touristy, Aourir has plenty of small supermarkets for drinks and snacks and some cafes at the bottom of the village. We enjoyed walking down, experiencing a more authentic Morocco. We visited nearby Taghazout and Tamraght. Paradise Valley is also close by. Taghazout has some licensed restaurants but you will not find alcohol in Tamraght or Aourir. You will, however, find some great restaurants. We went to Zaz restaurant in Tamraght and Tanit in Aourir. Cafe Resataurant Almaouz was a great coffee stop for us but the food looked great.
I am very pleased we booked Route de Miel. We experienced a Morocco we would not have had if we'd stayed in Agadir city alone. It is ideally situated for visiting Taghazout which is a very cool place. Karim was available for any queries/requests and even came to Agadir to drop off some things we foolishly left in the apartment, which we were so grateful for. Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at route de miel hotel, and i must say that it left a lasting impression. This charming hotel. Nestled away from the bustling city. Offers a serene and a relaxing atmospher.

The best I recommend

Hello I would like to say that I have spent a wonderful 2 days with Abdou and zoubair they are perfect hosts I wish I come back again with all my family and the food they served us very well the tagine was so delicious the best ever and the views and the decorations are ice on cake ,

I had good memories at Route de Miel, very kind and attentive staff.
I recommend!! I hope I come back sooner and bring my family with me this time, and the very beautiful swimming pool is secure for children, I feel at home

A haven of peace

We had a very pleasant stay in a house with very careful decoration brought up to date into a small family hotel and with all the comfort. The prices are very affordable and the staff is really nice. We recommend it to everyone who wants to spend pleasant, noise-free evenings with an outdoor swimming pool. And a magnificent view of the mountains
