The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Sofeen and staff were fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for him, he was a godsend. The rooms were kept clean and tidy the beds made daily, towels fresh everyday. 5 Star for the staff.
The Riad photos that are on most search sites are old ones, the place is in need pf a big makeover it is tired and needs money spending on it. The roof terrace is nothing like the pictures, tables need re-tiling, furniture is worn and broken.
An Italian lady has the 5 year rental on the place but does not own it she had 3 other Riads one is her own, so she should have the money to tidy up Venezia.
Breakfast is great, loads of good fresh food it could last you until Dinner.
Everyone hassles you and will try to get your money, always check your change from the dealers. Snake Charmers, Henna Women, and Monkey trainers are relentless and will try and scam you. If you want to get scammed go to the Tannery they are good at it. The hassle after a few days drains you as does the Leering and comments aimed at our 14 year old daughter who was dressed correctly, it is non stop. The do not do the same to Muslim women, shame on them.
We enjoyed the Aqua Park, Photographic Museum, Massages, Secret Garden and some genuine people, but be prepared when in the Souks or the large squares.
It was different as expected but the hassle 100% worse than when we used to visit our own apartment in Turkey.

Really nice place

Riad Venezia is a really cozy place with a nice staff. It looks like a typical moroccan house. Bedroom is quite small with a small window, but it is air-conditioned and is no problem to leave your door opened to have fresh air. Outside there is a lot of terases that are common but always free because it looks like for each bedroom is one. Also you can enjoy nice view from the top. Free breakfast in moroccan style were also really nice, if we have any problem the owner always tried to help.

Nice Riad , recommended

nice Riad. nice people, helpful. clean, nice bed, good shower. tasty breakfast every morning. room is cleaned and cleaned every day. clean towels every day. the riad is in the middle of the old center. 10 minutes from the main square. You can contact the staff with any questions. they also offer nice trips. we have not used iT. we have looked up something via TripAdvisor. and that's fine too.
highly recommended.

Do not miss the breakfast

Everything ok, we really enjoy the breakfast. The location is strategic and workers are very kind. We tried to different rooms. Both very good (maybe one of them was too humid but not a big deal). I would definitively recommend to go.
