Great Location and Staff
The Riad was very good for location and the owner and staff were very good.
It was quite warm , the Riad offered a cool and quiet location with air conditioning and good quality WIFI.
The breakfast was made freshly and served in super quick time.
The room was freshened and cleaned daily.
Would suggest if using taxi or transport to get to the Riad , use google maps to locate the Riad as it may be difficult to find within the small streets.

A friend and i had a 3 night stay with Riad Maizie. Prior to the trip i booked an airport transfer directly with them, i am very glad i did. The taxi arranged was good and took us as close as possible to the riad. We were greated by Youssef at this point and shown the way, meaning we did not wonder around, like others we saw going to their riads after arrival looking quite stressed, trying to figure out which way to go. It is tucked away and would be forgiven for not finding your way back, drop a pin in the location and google maps will solve this issue for you and you can return with no issues, or just ask a friendly local for help.
It is located within easy walking distact of most places but so quiet at night i could not believe it!
The riad was clean and had all we needed. We opted for food on arrival, which was probably the best of the tagines we tried whilst there. Communicating was easy with very fast responses so we could have everything organised prior to arrival, including a meal.
The breakfast was filling and the coffee plentiful and fresh. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel there for your use. We had a lovely sofa to sit on outside our rooms to wind down in the evening.
Anyone wanting to stay in a riad that is clean but feels authentic with great service, i recommend staying here. 2 women travelling alone, we never felt unsafe there or in Marrakech at all.

Not a lot went well. Checking started nicely with tea and sweets. Things went downhill quickly from there. When the accommodations say restroom and shower included they mean shared in the hall.
Remember to ask for a door that locks. Apparently, that’s not a given and you’re supposed to trust your neighbors.
Also, when the description says A/C that doesn’t mean an A/C that actually turns on.
The night before I literally slept in a tent with better accommodations than this.
Don’t get fooled into thinking that a hosts that speaks English well means that the quality of the riad is any good.

To avoid
Very disappointing place and poor value for money. It is cold in the rooms and hot water is scarce (1 person can shower... and very quickly). Common breakfast (not even pressed orange on the last day). Riad overall dilapidated, aging and not very clean. Run away.

Je m'excuse pour votre séjour décevant au riad.
Les chambres disposent de la climatisation qui peut augmenter la température intérieure des chambres lorsque toutes les portes et fenêtres sont fermées. L'eau chaude n'est généralement pas un problème à moins que tous les clients ne prennent une douche en même temps.
Je pense que le petit-déjeuner que nous servons est copieux et très varié tout au long des semaines.
Enfin, je ne suis pas d'accord avec vos commentaires de clôture, une vue de l'histoire du riad à travers ses photographies historiques démontrera qu'il y a eu de nombreuses rénovations dans un passé récent, et la majorité des clients évaluent bien ce riad dans ces sections.

Once you are there, the size of it is more like a bed and breakfast. The host and help are excellent. The breakfast is good enough and the location is central. Good value.
