Wonderful stay!

We rented 3 rooms and had the whole place to ourselves. It was such a wonderful experience in the heart of Marrakech and we would do it all over again if we could. Having the pool was luxurious and the rooms were very comfortable, as well as the lounging area on the ground floor. We absolutely loved the roof deck too where we took breakfast everyday! The service was fantastic and it made all the difference for our time here.

Disastrous

The worst place we have ever stayed in, says on the booking it’s your entire place, turns out there’s some guy 24/7 there right with a room right by the pool watching every move like some hawk, really rude as well as the owner. Pool is freezing as no sun light is on it and you literally get treated like some school kids as the guy watches what your doing, the girls didn’t want to go in the pool as they didn’t feel comfortable in bikini with someone they don’t know, if I wanted to go back to my parents I would have already but not on holiday in Marrakesh! Shame we can’t put zero stars

Cancelled booking the day before arrival

Although Anna was very nice, the bottom line is that the riad cancelled my reservation that I made with Booking.com the day before my arrival because of a 'technical error,' making it difficult for me to find an alternative riad with such notice and during the UN conference which made it even more difficult and expensive.

Marvellous riad stay

Stayed here on our last night in marrakesh after our desert trip. Very nice & homely feel of the riad. Spacious area in the common area facing a pool, rooms are good size & a patio at the top. Strategic area in the old city with walking distance to nearly all the attraction sites & cafes. Highly recommended to stay in the riad during your stay in marrakesh!

Great place to stay in Marrakech

We liked the Der El Warda from the BnB website and communications with the owner, Anna, convinced us to book the whole house for 3 days. We were not disappointed. Anna provided good directions to find parking and it is a short walking distance from the parking lot. The house is as shown in the pictures. Very nice and clean. The rooms are adequate and clean. The bedding is comfortable. Bathrooms are nice and there is plenty of hot water. There is an A/C but we didn't use it. Instead, they provided a room heater. There is a nice pool in the courtyard but we didn't use it as it was cold in December. The Riad has internet which worked quite well. The riad stay is made very welcoming by the housekeeper Rashid and his wife. They are both charming and extremely helpful. They cooked us 2 dinners which were wonderful. It is close to all attractions in Medina. Overall, a very nice place to stay and good experience.
