Charming little hotel within walking distance of Medina and Rabat.

Lovely Boutique Hotel perfectly located between walking distance of Mdina and Rabat. Very charmingly decorated, nice breakfast, friendlt staff, and the hotel manager (Grace) provided excellent customer service.
I would book there again.

For inland Malta the perfect spot to get a round and sleep well at night.

For the exploration of the island of Malta Howard House is a perfect place into any direction. Just across the street you may visit Mdina with its historic sites, wunderful churches, informative museums and spendid views. Around the corner you may stroll through Rabat's ancient streets to see the catacombs where the Apostle Paul stayed during his forced visit after the biblical ship-wreck. For the bodily support many splendid restaurants may care for the needs of taste.
Within 30-40 minutes you may reach many other inland attractions at ease. From the Air-Force museum to beaches, cliffs, gardens (St. Antons) and other places of interest.
Howard House gives you home and breakfast in clean, modern rooms prepared by a very helpful and friendly crew.

Well maintained, central, yet quiet

The location was perfect central, both walking around the corner to Rabat and walking around the corner to Mdina. Located on a road that is busy but as we had double windows it was absolutely quiet. But wonderfully central. No staff were there during the day, but in the morning at breakfast all wishes were very nicely received and you could ask questions about the hotel. The hotel has only 8 rooms - very nice. And a very nice roof terrace with views over the surrounding area. Again and again.
If all rooms are as soundproofed as our room, then there is absolutely nothing negative.

An excellent boutique hotel perfectly located for walking to the many places to visit in Mdina and Rabat. Very close to the main bus stops and restaurants.
The hotel is in a grand old building, fully and tastefully modernised inside. Our room was spacious and well appointed. And spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was generous; we appreciated the range of fruits.
Grace made us very welcome throughout our 3 day stay and was very helpful on practicalities like transport.
We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The most strategic and comfortable location in between Mdina and Rabat and the parking lots.

Howard House has splendid new rooms and installations.
Topped by a very helpful and friendly crew.
Regarding Tops - from the house top you may have a great view across for Mdina, Rabat and even down towards the Grand Harbour.
Its location is almost strategic as a fort for visits into Mdina and Rabat.
The churches and places only can be recommended.
Beautiful in buildings but even more so in the religious displays of the christian faith and traditions.
Restaurants of very good quality are more or less around the corner into Rabat.
For further excursions on Malta Howard House may become your landing for any point on Malta, wether the beaches & cliffs or other places of interest.
Some small timings always find a place on the two parking lots left or right in between Mdina and Rabat.
