Hike between the atolls
We were looking for a place to eat during a hike, we found this very nice place hidden among the palm trees, the food was delicious and very nice, we complimented the chef, good table service, clean and very welcoming, we were also allowed to use the sun loungers on the beach and the outdoor shower. Council

Perfect, recommend
Had a great stay at Biosphere inn. Stayed 8 days and the stuff and food was amazing. Even though it is not a resort, the hotel was perfect. And they organized so many activities for us, made plans for the day, all meals included. Just perfect. Definitely will return.

Great team at Biosphere Inn!
I chose the Biosphere Inn primarily because of John's crew, guides and manager. I wasn't wrong.
I was primarily interested in tours, so the location wasn't on the first line.
The guys are giving 100 per cent, we're lucky to see a lot of mantas, but after that, they were still looking for life.
Manager John is always there and extremely helpful. Also thank the chef, the captain and especially the guide Shayan, who helped me a lot during the tours.
The weather wasn't very good the days I was, so I didn't see a whale shark and I'll be back with you next year, so see you guys later!)

Paradise
I was at Biosphere inn from 20/8 to 2/9 and the staff was always super nice and helpful, rooms always spotless, great food, I wish everyone to go at least once in a lifetime.

Best experience for whale sharks and mantas in Hanifaru Sanctuary
Spent a few days at the Biosphere Inn, a small family guesthouse on the island of Dharavandhoo, and I want to share my experiences.
Atmosphere
Homely, soulful, warm. The host and his Staff (team) are always in touch, helping with the tour arrangements and handling all matters, even entertaining your children. The staff is very caring – it feels like you're visiting friends or relatives on the island
Rooms
Large spacious rooms with large windows. There's only seven rooms for a 3rd floor building, I thought all 20 rooms looked like it. Guest isn't new, but it works. Clean, cozy, air conditioning works quietly, comfortable large bed. Everything basic, including a hairdryer and a hot shower. Cleaning and changing towels every day, which is also rare in the local Maldives.
Food
Breakfasts are simple but delicious, with fruit and an egg station where you can order omelets or eggs. Coffee is only instant, like everywhere else. For dinner, there is always a menu in advance that will be on the buffet.
Location
Dharavandhoo is the gateway to the Hanifaru Biosphere Reserve and it is the main asset. Biosphere Inn is a great starting point for water adventures. The beach and boat dock are 5 minutes' walk away.
Activity
The host helps organize:
Snorkeling with mantas in Hanifaru Bay is one of the most vivid experiences of life
Excursions to sandbank (spit of sand) - perfect photos and complete privacy
Home reef diving – turtles, reef sharks, colorful corals
A boat trip to the sunset
Even a night excursion to the whale shark is possible if you are lucky with the weather and location
Dharavandhoo is an island with an authentic atmosphere, but with convenient access: there is a domestic airport, making the logistics simple.
Summary:
If you want to see the manta in Hanifara, live in the leisurely rhythm of a Maldivian village and still feel in caring hands - Biosphere Inn on Dharavandhoo is a great choice.
