Comfortable, cozy, very beautiful.
Stunning hotel with the best service on local islands. Clean new rooms with a huge amount of details:slippers,beach bag,robes,brand embroidery on pillows and towels,coffee machine in room. Very cozy. Delicious available dishes in the restaurant, delicious breakfasts. We were very pleased to relax here. We'd love to come back again.

Excellent stay
Had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was super clean with all amenities, has a restaurant in the roof top. All the food we had was delicious and freshly made.
The owner and his wife was so lovely and accommodating to all our requests. Very nice and welcoming.
There’s a beach just very close to the hotel almost 2 mins walk.
Would love to be back again.

The best service ever, a must if you looking for something more authentic than just a resort
I have traveled a lot in my life and this tops everything when it comes to customer service. The service beats 5 star hotels easily. The perfect accommodation for those who want to experience the Maldives for real. This is NO resort, but an authentic hotel on a nice island with friendly locals. The island is charming, clean and with incredibly nice beaches. Had 10 amazing days with my family here. Location on the island is perfect, close to both Manta-point, domestic airport and other things. Unfortunately I can only give Moonshell 5 stars but would have liked to give more. ;-)
The owner and his family do everything and a bit more to make you feel comfortable. No question is too small or too big for them to solve! The restaurant belonging to the hotel has a menu that I have rarely seen in even large hotels, tried most on it during our time at the hotel, good!! Locals are often eating at the restaurant. The island have a couple of shops with most things you could need.
For those who want to dive, the island has its own Padi center, which is also the one that takes you to the Manta point. At most we estimated about 150!!!! Manta rays on one of our visits, absolutely fantastic. The rooms are new, large, bright and clean with the most common equipment. The local island reef is very good where we saw animals such as: Turtle, reef shark, eagle rays, stingrays, lionfish, moray eels, rockfish to name a few. If you are going to the Maldives and want to discover something more than a resort with a chlorinated pool, Moonshell is a definite must.

Great stay and great snorkelling
Great place to stay. Nice clean room and good food. Maalhos is a beautiful island. I arrived on a clear sunny day which was a good start to my holiday. Upon arrival I was greeted by the owner Waheed who showed me around the island. The sea was lovely and warm and you can Snorkel directly from the island - so many fish. Thank you to Waheed and team for making my stay a wonderful experience.

A few quiet days on a local island
My family made a reservation for us.
It's a local island, so there are few tourists, and it was refreshing to not have to carry money.
The time I thought would be long passed by in a flash as I listened to the sound of the waves while reading, snorkeling, and walking. (It was my first time snorkeling, but I was able to try it because I didn't have to swim that far to get to the spot. There are many fish like in an aquarium.)
The island is very quiet and peaceful, and you can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and feel calm.
There are various optional activities available, so I think you will enjoy them. (You can consult with the owner in Japanese.)
There are no options for places to eat on the island, but the rooftop restaurant has a wide variety of drinks and food, so I enjoyed choosing one.
The staff are all kind and the place is very well cleaned. Wi-Fi is also available without any inconvenience. (You can also watch videos.)
It takes time from Japan because you need to transfer from Male, but it is a place I would definitely recommend.
