Thoddoo Retreat

We had a great time at Thoddoo Island, the accommodation for perfect couples. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was nice. The room was well equipped for full comfort. We spent a perfect week on the island, local people are kind and friendly. Both bikini beaches can be easily reached from the accommodation, and the beach is beautifully situated in a beautiful place. The accommodation can also help you organize your program. A visit to the resort as well as a funeral and a plankton evening program can be selected. We enjoyed every minute of the holiday, thank you.

Thoddoo Retreat the worst guest house and liar owner with bad smell guest room.

I Booked a Queen Double Room which next to the garden for 5 nights from booking.com but when i arrived they put me to the normal room that next to the entrance. I can hear everyone talk and walk pass the guesthouse entrance and cannot open the windows to refresh the room.
I asked the owner to changed the room to what i booked and he lied to me that the previous guests extend their stay.
Room is smelly so i have to use my body spray to spray the room 2 -3 times everyday during stay.
I went out in the morning for sucba diving for 3 days when came back to the room in the afternoon i have to face the bad smell problem everyday.
LCD tv with no remote control so couldn't watch tv, lucky me i bought the internet sim when arrived at the airport my only entertainment is my mobile phone.
only good thing in this guesthouse is the guy that prepare breakfast every morning is nice, always smile to all guests.

Thoddoo retreat

My best friend and I spent four days and five nights at Thoddoo retreat and we had a marvellous time. Tasty food, fabulous room, great location and friendly service. We went snorkeling various times and saw many turtles, explored the island at night seeing plankton and hermit crabs, and toured the whole island visiting farms and trying the produce- all thanks to Thoddoo retreat and it’s staff. The retreat offers free breakfast with your stay, along with lunch and dinner for a small price. Everyday we made use of this and were delighted with how much food we were given, along with how yummy it all was. I would recommend Thoddoo retreat to anyone travelling to the Maldives, especially if you are thinking of visiting the island Thoddoo.

Great time on Maldives!

The place was fantastic. Beautiful garden, comfortable room and bed, amazing shower with open roof (You feel like showering in the jungle). The staff was really helpful and friendly. Whatever we need, Adam the owner, did everything to make us feel comfortable. Adam has shown us the true Maldives including for example house reef with turtles and mantas.

Great hotel

The hotel is very nice and comfortable and very well located on the island. The manager took really care of us and offers a lot of activities (snorkeling, banksand, swimming with manta rays...) He knows the sea very well so we felt very safe with him.
