Dream honeymoon!
A daydream for our honeymoon trip!
We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and, despite the beautiful photos seen online, experiencing it in person is an unparalleled experience. What makes this place unique is the incredible warmth of the staff, capable of making you feel welcomed at every moment.
The beach is very beautiful and relaxing, and the cuisine is simply excellent. A special commendation goes to the rooms: we greatly appreciated the style that is true to the authenticity of the place, allowing for a complete immersion in the local atmosphere without sacrificing comfort.
Rating: 10 out of 10. We truly hope to return one day to this corner of paradise!

One night before the tour
Small and very cozy structure, with rooms directly on the beach, tastefully decorated.

Great disappointment, not recommended
We stayed at this lodge in Nosy Be and unfortunately our experience was very negative.
In the room the boiler kept whistling and the shower and tap water barely dropped. The beach in front of the lodge is not beautiful, but this does not depend on the structure, it is just so in this area.
The excursions are very expensive: we paid 180 euros for two people to go to Nosy Iranja, and despite the high price at the end of lunch (included) we were asked to pay even two coffees separately (I think 15000 Ariary, about 3€), a gesture really out of place considering how much we had already spent.
On the way back, since for some unspecified reason they would not take us with the boat directly to the lodge but on the opposite side of the beach, they had assured us that there would be a tuk tuk waiting for us, but there was no one: we waited in vain and in the end we were forced to walk all the way to the lodge.
In addition, at the time of check-out we were casually told an amount and then to the request to pay by credit card they added 5%, which was never communicated on arrival. Director Laura explained to us that “all lodges/restaurants in Madagascar do this” to cover their bank’s fees (but who covers mine? I didn't ask for the discount to make them pay my bank's fees... Look for a bank that is convenient for them). Among other things it is not true that it is charged because in other structures both in Nosy Be and on the big land no one has ever applied them...
Positive note: the restaurant food was good, but unfortunately not enough to make up for the rest.
Staff pretend to listen to complaints, but have no attention to the customer.
In conclusion: disappointing experience and lodge absolutely not recommended. A Nosy Be is better for the same price, with much higher standards.

Very well managed structure
We were lucky enough to stay in one of the two suites on the first floor which, in addition to a large and comfortable room enjoyed a large sheltered outdoor space shared with the other suite and panoramic views of the beach.
On the latter, not one of the best in Madagascar, but for us it was exclusively a base location for excursions, so we appreciated the location and the excellent Italian management with pleasant and cared for cuisine.
Recommended for those looking for a base in Nosy Be for excursions.

We contacted the whole package with them, which was two days in Iranja and Otra on the beach. When we arrived, we reminded him again that they had to pick us up at 1:00 am. Which is already paid for because our flight was leaving very early for Antananarivo.
Well, I forgot to pick it up.
We waited a long time for a taxi or motorcycle to be located.
We arrived right at the boarding closure. It was one of the worst experiences I experienced on a trip because of a Hotel that was already hired and paid for.
On the other hand, when we arrived from the beach hotel and went to eat, we were told that they did not have the restaurant open, but if they had waiters with their arms crossed on the beach.
Alberto had air conditioning in the room we were told we had to pay 20 €. Keep it.
This is all the colored girl who attended us at first. Then in the evening when I forgot to pick us up we talked to an Italian.
He deserves less than a star to me.
