Resto détente et abordable

Trés bonne experience au restaurant. Serveur devoué et qui prend soin de sa clientèle. La nourriture est bonne et le cadre est calme. Restaurant qui donne sur la mer et piscine trés propre. On reviendra sans hesitation avec toute la famille !!!

La Fourmi Hotel a healthy stop during our excursion to Hell Ville Madagascar. After the morning visit to the local market, our guide takes us to the La Fourmi hotel for a refreshing break. A small snack, local beers etc. Nothing extraordinary and just enough to confirm to me that I will never stay there. The important moment: a welcome with a local folk troupe, costumes, makeup etc. It was very good, well done. Swimming pool, bar etc. I've already seen better. Panoramic view of the sea, at low tide the scenery is different. The area is poor and the street is on dirt.
A healthy break and have a good day

hotel managed by unscrupulous employees.

In an idyllic setting, the hotel is nice and clean despite its green swimming pool.
Apart from a few members of the team, we have here a nice bunch of crooks who are taking advantage of the fact that the boss is not on site to take advantage and make their money. We dealt with the boss by telephone and never had a problem with him.
- they tried to scam us on the exchange at 4000Ar while the boss on the phone had stipulated 4500Ar.
- it is recommended to request the invoices immediately and not to put anything on the room bill.
- Hotel which becomes unlivable on Sunday evening because there is a ball which is organized right next door, and in addition they use the hotel's generator to hold their ball in the absence of the jirama (EDF) leaving the customers without light and without air conditioning.
If you have to stay there be careful who you talk to.

Hotel La Fourmi does not correspond to the category of a three-star hotel due to its equipment and the technical condition of the building. According to Czech hygiene standards, this hotel would not be approved for operation at all.
In addition, the hotel is located on the beach in an area without sewage, densely populated by the poor local population. The beach is full of garbage and feces. We were not warned by the Czech guide that we should not enter the beach or see water. The water pipes in the hotel building were cracked, in some rooms the toilets did not flush or the water did not flow from the shower. There was mold everywhere. The fact that the air conditioning, television or refrigerator did not work in some rooms is not so important.
5 out of 14 tour participants had serious health problems that prevented them from participating in some of the planned trips.
The hygienic deficiencies and the quality of the accommodation at Hotel La Fourmi exposed us to a serious health risk and significantly spoiled our holiday.
Due to the above, we no longer intend to use Čedok's services in the future. At the same time, we will discourage our friends and acquaintances from traveling with Čedok.

My experience at La Fourmi

Room are acceptable but not value for money. Staff service is slow and unprofessional, you have to reorder your drinks several times.
No service after 8pm on a Friday night, everything is closed and zero staff in sight.
Pool water is very dirty, found beer cans just resting at the bottom of the pool.
Would not recommend for English speaking foreigners and anybody looking to have a relaxing and stress free time.
