Can't fault it
Cannot fault this hotel. Doesn't pretend it's something it's not - does exactly what it says on the tin and more. Advertised as a 3 star however I've stayed in 4 and supposed 5 stars that weren't as good. The fact that it is in a venue with an Olympic swimming pool is pretty cool too.
The rooms are spacious - high ceilings with lots of room to manoeuvre. Not cramped in any way. Mini fridge and lots of storage and hanging space available. The walk in shower was also sizeable. The rooms are a bit out of the way and are a decent walk from reception and the restaurant, however if like me you like to get your steps in, it's no issue. I heard zero noise from any other room - perhaps a first at a hotel for me. Accessing the hotel chambers outside of normal hours is a bit of a faff - make sure you clarify this aspect when checking in.
The breakfast is adequate; pastries, cooked items, a variety of breads, cured meats, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and oatmeal variants (muesli, granola etc.), however more variety would be nice.
Location wise there is a tram stop right outside that takes you to both the main city and the airport, which suited my needs perfectly. There are a few restaurants a short walk in either direction once you exit the hotel along John F. Kennedy Avenue.
I've given the hotel a 5 star review because it gets all the basics right and went above and beyond my expectations, all for a very reasonable price.

The hotel was a huge disappointment.
This hotel was an absolute disappointment and, honestly, a disaster.
The staff were unfriendly, and not even 5% of them could speak English. The rooms are large and well laid out, but the shower has almost no water pressure. The toilet also does not flush properly—you have to press the button several times before it works.
The beds are terrible. They are separate single beds that constantly slide apart. The rooms are not air-conditioned, and cleanliness is practically non-existent. There were no fresh towels and no shampoo provided.
The breakfast was awful. You can get a better breakfast at almost any gas station in Germany.
The restaurant itself is very nice, serves excellent food, offers fair prices, and the restaurant staff were very friendly.
The swimming pool is large and well designed. However, it is hardly usable because sports clubs are constantly training there. Parts of the pool are regularly closed off, making it difficult for hotel guests to enjoy the facilities. In addition, wearing a swimming cap is mandatory, although this was not mentioned anywhere beforehand. You have to rent one, and it is very uncomfortable to wear because it puts a lot of pressure on your head.
What is completely unacceptable is that the hotel does not provide slippers or bathrobes, yet guests are criticized for not wearing a bathrobe when entering or leaving the pool area. My son was even told, “Put on a bathrobe or leave. I have your room number.” I find this kind of behavior completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
The way guests are treated here is unacceptable, regardless of how much they pay. We certainly did not pay a small amount for our three-day stay, and I have never experienced anything like this before.
For me, this hotel is an absolute no-go. I will definitely not return and cannot recommend staying here.

No hotel feeling
At this hotel we had no hotel feeling, it is located in a neighborhood with many office buildings. The reception is in a sports complex, with a pass you can go to another location next door. The hotel is located in a kind of basement, it is not very atmospheric. The rooms are clean and beds are good only there was no hot water. I think this hotel is more suitable for athletes and business people. The breakfast room is located in the sports complex where you can hear the basketball players playing:-) Breakfast is not very extensive and unfortunately there was only canned fruit, no fresh fruit. A plus, with the tram in front of the door you are so in the center and 2 stops away there is a shopping center with restaurants. For us it was in any case not worth repeating. What we lacked was a real hotel experience and conviviality.

Avoid this hotel like the plague
This hotel has appalling customer service.
I paid the hotel directly for 2 rooms for myself and a work colleague in April. We checked in on the 6th July and out on the 9th July. The receptionist didn't accept the reservation I showed them with the words already paid, and asked me to pay again. I asked them to check their system while we were at breakfast. Instead they took full payment for the hotel rooms again!
I showed them my bank account and that the money had been paid in April. Despite constant proof of the original payment and the double payment over the next few days, they refused to accept this until the client we were working for contacted them. 6 days later I got a refund but no explanation of why the receptionist went ahead and took the money out of my account even though I had shown them proof of payment.
The receptionist and managers were surly throughout. My colleague said they were very rude even when she checked in.
This hotel should be AVOIDED at all cost.

The only good is location was really accessable to the tram and the swimming pool , the staff in the reception is rude , no smile at all . The room have smell coming from the bathroom , everything is dusty . Shower is no pressure . No aircon . The elevator have wire came out , bit scary to touch and use . Breakfast is the same everyday , no special , but the staff there are helpful and they give you a smile .
