great stay in Riga

We have spent two amazing days here at the Bellevue Hotel, located directly across from the picturesque Uzvaras Park, "Victory Park," just a 20-minute walk from the Old Town, or easily reached by tram in five minutes. The rooms are very large, spacious, and bright, with beautiful views of the city and the Daugava River, making them an excellent choice for families, couples and group of friends

Never visit this hotel again!

I had stayed at this hotel once before; there were no issues—it was just a standard hotel. However, on the second visit, an incident occurred that left a very poor impression. We were staying for one night, and during that time, someone tried to steal our car from the hotel parking lot—a lot equipped with barriers at both the entrance and exit. Police on patrol discovered our car in the morning; it was in the middle of the road with its doors open, just a few dozen meters outside the parking lot barrier. We received a call from reception saying the police were there and there was a problem with our car. We spent over three hours dealing with the situation alongside the police and a criminal investigator. The only thing the hotel did was show the police surveillance footage, which—naturally—did not cover the spot where our car had been parked. They did nothing else throughout the entire ordeal. None of the hotel staff showed any interest in whether we needed help; even the so-called head of security didn't seem concerned about how an attempt to steal a car from their lot could have happened. Because the process took so long, we couldn't check out on time. I went to ask if we could keep using our room at least until we knew whether the car would even start and how we would get home. They agreed to extend our stay, but when we got to the room, the key cards still didn't work. We missed breakfast, and no one even cared to ask whether we needed anything—even just some water. If I were the hotel’s head of security or working at the front desk, I would at least show some interest in how such a thing could happen or whether the people currently in that situation needed anything. When we returned our room cards, the reception staff didn't say a word to us—not even "goodbye."
I told a relative of mine, who had stayed at the hotel a few weeks earlier, about the incident. They remarked that while there wasn't anything specifically wrong with the hotel itself, the reception staff seemed to care only about getting the key back on time.
In any case, thank you for the experience—thanks to it, neither I nor my acquaintances will ever visit your hotel again.

Easy and convenient transportation.

Getting to the city center from the hotel is very easy; tram lines 1, 5, and 8 depart right in front of the hotel, so you can reach the center by tram. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable.
