Democratic prices

It's time to go on a business trip to Dougavpils. For the overnight they chose the Spa Hotel “Dinaburg”. Price is democratic, location is convenient.
The hotel itself is clean, no frills. In the best tradition of the 2000s. Breakfast (buffet) was included in the price. For breakfast, the choice was as elsewhere: omelets, sausages, porridge, pancakes, vegetables, cheese, ham and drinks. Nothing special, but delicious and satisfying. The only rebuke to the hotel is audibility. We're lucky to have young people in the neighborhood who had a lot of fun until the night.
The staff are very polite, ready to come to the rescue.

Review of the hotel!

no refrigerators, very small selection of food for breakfast, some food is cold! The window cannot be opened. The TV is disturbing! The sockets didn't work! You can still spend one night! Friendly staff, it makes me happy! Fix please! Thank you!

Superrrr

We was just for 2 Night,but we will come back Next Time,there a good quality of breakfast .juicr,cheese,bacon,sausages,cruasan,koffe,tea,fries,pancakes we like it.for quests swimming pool. Tiem centr about 5-7 minute BY taxi.thank you for your staff,this is best staff,friendly,always smile.thanks

Far from perfect

Cozy and clean 1990-ies style (deplorable sound isolation - one can hear person coughing in the room next door).
Reception staff - perfect and friendly.
Breakfast - disaster with bad instant coffee and lower than average meals.

A little out of town....

Check in was swift and there was a car park to the rear which was handy. There did seem to be on street unrestricted parking out side the hotel. Family size meant we had the business suite. One double and one double sofa bed with 2 bedrooms. Large bathroom with a Jacuzzi but the head of the shower built into the bath so you could not stand there and have a normal shower. There is a pool at the hotel but outside a 2 hour window....which coincides with breakfast time there is a charge of 15 euro per person per hour! Needless to say it was cheaper to go to a local swimming pool in the area. The pool area was not that inviting anyway and not sign posted.....when we went to look we ended up in the laundry room. Breakfast was ok but be early as there was hardly anything left at 08.30 on a week day morning. Staff were pleasant enough and I had to laugh at the form we had to sign because we were 'Aliens' something lost in google translation I think. I think the hotel in the centre of town would be a better option but overall the area is rather uninspiring and expensive for the area and country it is located.
