Great place to stop by for adventure /business travelers.

I highly recoomend this place if you are business travelling or on a road adventure. Good place to have a good rest, the rooms were clean, ambient pub and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were super friendly and the security lady was very professional. It's alright for family travel, but not much of my taste for a romantic trip, just because they dont have private balconies. Still I give it 5 stars just because of how the staff treated us.

Horrible

Rooms looks like a lodging where you take your side piece, workers are unfriendly especially the manager, when you bath water don't drain and the toilet was broken. The hotel looks great from outside but the rooms, invest in the rooms, even just a simple pillow is flat

Upgrading is needed, and you will among the best in Migori

The place is beautiful and lovely only if they can lower the music and have a sound engineer to look at it.
Breakfast is average with a variety to chose from.
The bathroom floor are very slippery, tiles needs to be changed to non slip type.
The female staff are really down and have altitude, more so the ones in the rooms.
They have a good standard gym but the equipment's needs to checked into as many are broken down and need repair.
The have TVs in the rooms though still digital which need upgrading to smart.

Bad experience at Florence

Place is broken down, no maintenance, nothing works, expensive for nothing, slippery bathroom, dangerous instant hot shower gadget with glaring wires, horrible bfast uncaring employees with a bad attitude! Can’t recommend this hotel, far cry from my visit 3 yrs ago

A decent place at a fair price

The Florence was a clean hotel and they had caring staff. There were a number of occasions I asked for something to be brought to my room that took forever. Simple things like hot water in a thermos and extra towels. This must be a cultural thing...to take forever with simple requests. But the overall feel was good. Food on the buffet was average. The layout was not very well thought through. There is no way to get to the breakfast area without walking completely around the hotel...outside.
