Magical place

A Saturday spent outside of Nairobi.
Oasis Eco Camp Lake Elementaita is such a breath taking place . Today we took the easel out, put a brush in our hand and painted the stunning view of Lake Elementaita .
How I wished we had brought some extra clothes to spend the night here. We will definitely be back soon!
They have beautiful tents & cottages, their toilets and bathrooms are also clean. The place has lots of activities on offer ( reasonably priced ) for the entire family.
I managed to capture a picture of the Monkey Who Stole Our Crisp while we were focused on our painting . You gotta love them ❤️.

Nice budget camp on the shores of Lake Elementaita

A budget family ran camp. We had booked one of the self contained tents but on arrival we they also had a group of students on the lake side where our tent was, they offered us a cottage at the same rate which was considerate. The campsite is right at the shores of Lake Elementaita and you get to enjoy the beautiful flamingos. They also have a reasonably long zip line for extra activities

Great camping experience

We spent the weekend here. It is a good camping experience with the tents provided by them. The bathrooms attached to the tents are a nice addition. The kitchen for cooking was a basic setup but worked well.

Perfect escape from the city

Went down for my birthday weekend with a fellow backpacker, the host was very welcoming and the lake elementaita views were amazing. The camps is near the hot springs and the sleeping warrior hill making the visit more ideal. bonfire was well done until 3 am when a group of noisy young boys and girls woke us all up. The camp should define better rules on noise at night for the sake of all its guest.

Serenity tranquility

Wow what a place to do a nice weekend getaway be it with family or friends or even alone...we were part of a team covering the safari rally and one of the sections was sleeping warrior so Oasis for us was perfect.
The tents are good they keep the wind away and its quite cool during the hot sunny day...the place can get abit cold at night so carry warm clothes but you can request for extra bedding.... The tents have hot showers and a toilet and hand wash sink so lets say self contained....insect repellant would be advisable but the crawlies hardly get into the tent unless you leave it open, nothing to be scared about...they also provide a campfire at your request and breakfast can also be arranged for in advance.
The lake is right next to the camp and the morning light is absolutely beautiful with the pink flamingos basking and munching whatever they eat so don't leave your camera behind....there are other types of accommodation at the camp and you can also bring your camping gear, whatever floats your boat.
