A 30-second walk from the Adachi Museum of Art

The open-air bath with room is always filled with freshly sourced hot spring water, so you can enjoy the hot spring to your heart's content. The rooms are clean and atmospheric. The food is high, so you can enjoy both dinner and breakfast. In particular, the collaboration between the Sea of Japan fish and Shimane Wagyu beef for dinner and the overnight dried flounder for breakfast are excellent.

Perfect for visiting the famous museum and garden across the road

Beautiful tradition ryokhan with steam bath and onsen outdoor in peaceful setting. Very luxurious feeling on arrival and you are given your Japanese kimono and outfit for taking dinner. We slept on mats in a large family room. It has a fridge and plenty of space. Food was typical Japanese set meals with fish steamed and pickled vegetables on a large tray.

Excellent location for a visit to the Adachi Museum

Nice stay. Traditional Japanese Inn. Opted for dinner at hotel. Spendy for us, but excellent and fun. Lots of small dishes, so something for everyone. Quite filling. Good breakfast, with option of Western or Japanese. Luggage storage available while at museum. The site is isolated if you don't have a car, so the meal package is helpful. Tatami with futon bedding arrangement was fine. High level of friendly service.

Nice Ryokan

The ryokan is quiet. The room was nice and clean but there is no bathroom in the room, there was only toilet. You must use the shared bathroom downstairs. Breakfast and dinner were awesome. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is private bathroom with onsen available but need to reserve (1 hr per time). The shared bathroom had so many skin products provided and the outdoor onsen was really really good.

Very nice ryokan

We stayed one night. We got a nice classical room on the second floor but After being offered to add 7500 yen we upgraded to a superb room with a private small ofuro overlooking a private small garden and it was a great decision we loved it. In order to wash properly we booked the small outdoor private ofuro where we could wash together. In the nice public bath they separate men and women as in every ryokan. Dinner was served in a private room and was very good though a little bit rushed compared to other ryokan terminated in less than an hour.
Breakfast was ok. The staff speaks almost no English but are very helpful and polite.
The ryokan is situated at the back of the adachi museum so you can walk over there easily.
In sum a great stay I loved it.
