Peace and serenity

Far away from the distant busy life in Tokyo or on of the other Japanese megapoles, this hotel provides the visitor with a good onsen (bath from natural spring) both inside and outside. Food was delicious (variety of sashimi, tempura, tajinn, peache-based soup etc.) with typical Japanese hospotality. The complex is quite big, so maybe not for if you want ultimate solitude. Other than this it was a very pleasant stay.

Excellent - highly recommended!

This inn is located in a small onsen village that is not particularly scenic or anything, but inside it is really great. When you arrive, the women can choose a yukata and obi (cotton kimono and sash) from a wide array of colours and just before dinner some ladies will come to your room to dress you. This is a lot of fun and makes some great photos! Inside the room there were also cute baskets for the ladies to use when going to bathe - lots of nice touches that made the stay here special. The room was nice, with a view onto the river running behind the building. Our room had its own private 'rotemburo" (outdoor bath) but this was slightly disappointing as it was just a small wooden bath of normal domestic size. Perhaps it was my mistake to imagine something grander, but nevertheless, it was a nice experience to relax on the balcony in the quiet to the sound of the river flowing. We were 4 and had booked one room which was laid out with 4 futon when we were at dinner. Dinner was served in a private dining room which was with a western table and chairs. The food was wonderful and there was lots of it. Breakfast was also served in the same room and was also very good. All in all a good experience and I would go back.

ロケーションや食事は悪くなかったが、施設の絨毯等の剥がれが気になった。少し手直しがあるといいかな。

食事が美味しいです。とにかくごはんの炊き加減が絶妙です。秋田県民ですが、思わず銀河のしずくを取り寄せしてしまいました。
