Hotel did not have ski locker as advertised (problem as we went with ski gear which had to freeze in the car overnight). Outside Onsen was closed (so forget that nice picture). Room was not cleaned every two days as supposed to be and towels were not refreshed.
Restaurant was fine but only 2 meals available, if you stay more than 2 days you will eat the same thing over and over.
Not a bad hotel, just a few improvement things that management needs to address.

wonderful stay overnight here at 黒部サンバレーホテル
We reached around 5pm so much daylight to explore the surrounding before dark. Nestled in a quiet region we can immediately hear the water flowing along Kashima river, against the greenery backdrop. The mountain view natural hot spring bath is popular among guests. Very picturesque and scenic.
The Lobby is spacious and well decorated, piano at a side. A restaurant (where we took dinner & bf), a game room, and event space.
Traditional Japanese-style bedding in a straw mat room. Its tatami style again with futons and traditional short-legged dining tables The lightly decorated room feature flat-screen TVs, kettles and even minifridges. There is free Wi-Fi. And the bonus is definitely included the indoor and outdoor baths with natural hot spring water. Onsen here is fabulous!
Meals here are set-based not quire the buffet one expected. But the seasonal vege 7 fish were great. We enjoyed very much
Of the 7 nights in this Tateyama Kurobe tour 黒部サンバレーホテル was the best stay in my opinion.
