Great onsen hotel

We had a fantastic stay here. During our stay all our breakfast and dinner are in Kaiseki style. We love the food they serve. Onsen is superb! Personally I love the outside onsen because it's cold on your head while you're soaked in onsen and the view is fantastic! The room design is old but still good. There's free coffee and infused water at the lobby. The downside is there's only one elevator that makes it difficult to transfer with luggage especially for big groups.

Very friendly and accommodating staff who met all wishes where possible. The location of the hotel directly on the beach is fantastic and an ideal starting point to explore the nearby area even with the bicycles available for hire at reception. The simple indoor and outdoor onsen bath just above the beach is highly recommended with its view to the sea. Breakfest and dinner give a good insight into the traditional high art of Japanese cuisine. We felt very comfortable.

Room is clean. Sea view room is really nice and worth it. Good amenities. Good onsen facilities especially outdoor bath. It is worthwhile to get the half board.

Hotel with excellent view and nice hot springs

We arrived from Hakata yesterday, after checking in to the hotel we went to the sand bath, Royal hotel provided shuttle service to the sand bath facility, we explored the sand bath and followed by soaking in the hot springs, than we took a walk back to the hotel, there are no restaurants on the way back to the hotel, I guess all the restaurants is around the Ibusuki station, since we are staying for two days, we will relax on the hotel outdoor hot springs that facing the sea, excellent view and relaxing.
If you want to relax and experience the sand bath this hotel is excellent.
The breakfast is traditional Japanese style than was delicious.

Room and hotel look tired but fantastic location.
