Normal room but loved its surrounding

Liked the nature and its surrounding with Tori gate , river, waterfalls and flowers
Hot springs are very nice

The onsen was a good mix of traditional and modern. The onsen was very spacious and the outside pools had great views. Our futons were not made for us on our second night. The breakfast and dinner buffets were just okay, there was nothing really exceptional. Would have expected better food. The onsen is a 10 plus minute walk from the station, but it should be noted that it is all uphill and challenging with luggage.

Great staff, convenient location. Rented the bath by the hour and it was great. Nice view from the room. Food was excellent.
