Peaceful, quiet, fresh and a great sens of welcoming people

Escape the hot, wet and noisy bottom of the city ! Only 20mn by taxi from the airport , the Jennifer and Tony's B&B was for me a restful retreat in this fresh foothills. These hosts are so kind and honest . Rooms are clean. The roof, on which you are allowed to claim, is full of exotic flowers. Breakfast is wonderful.

A very friendly and affordable place to stay in Kingston, Jamaica

Thank you Tony and Jennifer. You have a wonderful 'quiet oasis' guest house in the hills above the Constant Spring Golf Course in Kingston. We enjoyed our stay and also really wanted to bring home some of the beautiful flowers growing in your garden. Anyone looking for a good place to stay in Kingston will not be disappointed with the Anchorage.

A Gem of a residence in foothills of Kingston

We had a wonderful time staying at the home of Tony & Jennifer Tame in foothills of Kingston Jamaica we felt it was like our own home and they are fabulous hosts and great conversationalists.We stayed 2 nights when we arrived before embarking on our journey throughout the island and our final night before leaving Jamaica.
But we could have stayed much longer had we the time as they are very friendly,helpful and interesting people and we never tired of talking to them in their home.Tony has spent many years game fishing and boat delivering to and from the USA so he has many stories to tell and Jennifer also has her stories of family life and makes delicious typical Jamaican jams,sauces and everything else tropical.
Their home is very comfortable and better than most hotels the neighbourhood is very quiet and secluded so you can explore the gardens around their house and see lots of birds,tropical plants and flowers also the tropical fish in ponds Tony has constructed.
Our room was excellent with a large bathroom and cable TV,WiFi,A/C so we didn't really need anything else for our comfort and the overall area is very safe.Tony has also written a couple of books set in Jamaica so I recommend purchasing a copy as they are very interesting using his experiences as a boat Captain and knowledge of the coastline of Jamaica for the basis of his novels.
It's not far from Devon House,Bob Marley Museum and other places of interest in Kingston also the Embassies of Canada,Germany,USA and Jamaica House home of Prime Minister so it's very convenient.
Both my wife and I can highly recommend staying at the Anchorage B & B if you are visiting Jamaica and hope to return one day in the not too distant future..thank you Jennifer & Tony for making our stay so enjoyable and you can now consider us as Family...
