Great stay

A B&B as welcoming as the owners. Clean, quiet, peaceful environment. The breakfast was really good, with a wide choice for every taste and need. Delightful and spotlessly clean double room, equipped with a kettle for tea, herbal teas... WIFI available, safe, air conditioning. Excellent value for money. A few minutes from Borghetto, the center of Volta Mantovana and many other locations. I advise!!!!!!

Good location , location , prices and payment methods completely to be reviewed .

The location outside is nice, it would look like an old farmhouse rearranged "do it yourself"! All in all the place is strategic if you want to visit Borghetto or even more the cavour park! Inside there are a jumble of colors and furnishings that just clash with each other... the room was clean although very old it seems that they discarded objects and furniture in the house and used them to create rooms to rent and profit * "clean" ... (considered that the payment can only be paid in cash and without receipt!) 90 euros for a night in the middle of nowhere seems a bit exaggerated considering the room described, the doors and stairs I think were part of the grandparents' house and remained as they were at the time, the light was the one present in the cemeteries and the room was completely dark!
The girl, I think is the owner, was helpful and kind.

Strategic location, top breakfast

I only spent the night of mid-August, but I could appreciate the spacious and clean rooms, the quiet area and extremely convenient to visit Lake Garda and Gardaland. Owner very kind and helpful, great breakfast and very rich, with various homemade desserts. If I return to the area I will definitely return.

No Go!

From the outside this B&B is beautiful, picturesque off the beaten path. We were given a warm welcome from Angelica who kindly let us into our rooms earlier than the required check-in time, offered us coffee and chocolate.
The rooms were spacious, they are not your usual modern rooms, no TV but they did have AC, a big shower, clean towels and bed sheets. The rooms were dimly lit but that seems to be the theme of the whole B&B...dark!
The is B&B is far from town so a car is definitely needed, to go by taxi costs 30euros one way, so when I saw a sign on the back of the door to pay in cash I immediately asked to pay by card.
The breakfast was basic but the smell of freshly baked cakes was heavenly, no one to make coffee, we had to make it ourselves and couldn't get a proper cappuccino. The breakfast was a big downfall, in fact there was nothing for my kids to eat...no eggs, toast etc and we were not offered savoury foods.
In the evening I ordered pizza and Angelica got a bit angry because I used the breakfast room to serve up the pizza to the kids, we didn't make a mess and took the pizza to our rooms...she left me feeling like I was a villan but I had sent her a message to ask if I could use the breakfast rooms as most B&Bs have let me use the tables before.
I don't recommend this B&B and I won't be staying here again.

a very kind place in rural Italy

staff: polite and very kind
surroundings: we were looking for an economical B&B not far from Gardaland, but the place has other possibilities, next time Volta Mantovana!
rooms: cozy, similar to my grandma`s house (in a positive way)
hotel: big garden, shaded terrasse, cool breakfast rooms, very child-friendly with games everywhere
food: breakfast specialities
