Pretty hotel with a Vaporetto stop close by
The hotel was quite charming and the location was good. There is a vaporetto stop very close by so it was easy to take public transport to the airport.
We had a basic room which could be best described as bijou. The room was pretty, especially the lampshade. The air conditioning worked well, the beds were comfortable. We had asked for twin beds, but they were separated only by a couple of centimetres because of the size of the room.
The room was clean and the towels were changed without asking.
The bathroom was small but it was ok and had a good shower. There wasn’t any shampoo or hair conditioner, just a hair & body wash.
The breakfast was good and had lovely fresh fruit as well. We also got breakfast to go because we had to check out early the second day. That breakfast was very basic. We also asked the night porter if we could eat the take out breakfast in the lobby before leaving but he said we couldn’t do that which I thought was strange.
All in all, the hotel met our needs.

Cute little room with a great balcony. The decor was very authentic. The only complaint would be the room temperature. Even with the air conditioner as low as it would go the room was too hot at night. To be fair, the weather was extremely hot when we visited. Everything else was great. When we had an issue with the sink stopper, maintenance replaced it right away. The staff was helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants and sights.

Hotel is in a great location, near places u want to visit but not in a crowded area. Room are quiet and well appointed. Bathroom is narrow but functional. Very clean!
Breakfast is terrific with a variety of food items and coffee drinks. Lovely little breakfast room. Staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful.
Really do recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in an area that was easy to navigate to other things. People were amazingly friendly and helpful. Please give Henry a raise! The room was small but sufficient. Breakfast had a good variety. Again, the location worked perfectly for us. Would definitely stay there again.

A lovely stay in Venice
We have stayed in Venice before and found hotel Bel sito to be very well positioned. The vaperetto station is only a couple of minutes walk away and water taxi’s can pull up right at the hotel. It’s close to Piazza del SAN Marco and many other important sights.
The staff were very friendly and the room was well appointed, clean and very quiet for a good nights sleep despite being on a canal. We loved watching all the gondolas go by from our window. The air conditioning( very important in summer in Venice during a heat wave) was the best we have had in Italy.
The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. As was the bar in the afternoon. It also had a lovely garden courtyard which would be beautiful in slightly cooler weather.
There are many lovely restaurants and cafes etc nearby. A great stay for our 3 nights in Venice. Thank you to the staff at hotel Bel Sito
