Lost in Venice with the family
This is a nice 3 bedroom apartment that is on the second floor, so if you do not like to lug baggage upstairs this isn't for you. The rooms are cozy and the dining area makes for a great place for the family to coordinate to make plans on seeing the city. There is an ATM 2 blocks away and several food spots within blocks of the apartment. The water taxi is just one block away and you can walk to any part of the city with ease if you are into walking. If you are looking for a 4 star room this not it but a comfortable place to see Venice with the family on a budget. PS the showers are really small!

Book and paid in full on April 13 BUT.....
Can only review this apartment by our experience with the booking. Booked, paid in full and received confirmation on April 13 for a stay beginning August. 28, 2018. On June 1, 2018, messaged the owner with a question regarding check-in. On June 3, received a message the apartment was double booked and our reservation (made approximately 6 weeks earlier) CANCELLED. I don't know when they intended to notify us about the cancellation if we hadn't made contact. Would we have arrived in Venice and had to look for accommodations??? Our payment was refunded but we lost approximately $90.00 CDN due to currency conversion. So, our advice - if you book this place, re-confirm with owner after you get confirmation from site.

Fabulous location, large spacious apartment
This apartment was a very short walk from the Vaporetto stop so you can go everywhere quite easily. The apartment had 3 BR, 3 Ba, living area and kitchen. Very large. Nicola was super helpful getting us orientated and even went the extra mile, when we realized we had left a pair of glasses in our rental car, to help us locate them. We loved our stay at the Ca Tron. Location is in a quiet neighborhood with several restaurants and shops near by.

Genuine Venice experience, affordable price, great location and warm hospitality
Initially we decided to book the Cà Tron Apartment because of the perfectly affordable price compared to other similar places. Apparently this was a good decision - we found the apartment perfectly suitable for our family trip (we were three couples of different ages accompanied with our lovely baby boy - my first grandchild).
Every aspect of our visit from the price negotiation, through the booking and till our final check out was effectively and conveniently handled by the nice young man Nicola who is a kind of local manager. In fact Nicola owns the different property - Bed and Breakfast Venice located at the second floor of the same building. Still he provided the highest degree of the service, support (we needed some) and warm hospitality.
As for the property itself - it seems to be a good value for money. Indeed not the five star luxury apartment but the very cozy and genuine one. It has everything you need in case you do not mind climbing the third floor (forget about the elevator, not in Venice) and lack of the entertainment (the only TV is located in the living room and it is really tiny).
The three room apartment is well-maintained and kept in the good condition, clean and spacious. The small but completely equipped kitchen is combined with the living room. All the bedrooms have the double or king-sized beds. The baby bed was kindly provided per our request.
The location can't be better - check the reviews for the Bed and Breakfast Venice, they say it all.
The couple of things IMHO need some improvement:
1. Bathroom equipment is outdated and must be replaced - there are some hours during the day when the water pressure is too low (the pressure problem is not specific to the Cà Tron Apartment - it is quite common for the old Venice districts).
2. Not a big deal but if you can't live without Internet - carry the WiFi repeater with you as there is mostly no coverage in the apartment. But who needs the Internet - Venice is so beautiful so you should be walking outside most of the time.
Overall I'd recommend Ca Tron Apartments for people traveling to Venice.

Soggiorno confortevole
Abbiamo soggiornato in sette per 3 notti e l'appartamento ha superato le nostre aspettative. È situato in una zona comodissima, dotato di tutto il necessario e perfetto anche per gruppi numerosi. Laa cucina è spaziosa e dotata di tutto il necessario, così come i servizi. Il proprietario è disponibile e attento ai dettagli. Sicuramente consigliato.
