Improveable structure in Val d'Ultimo
We stayed for 4 nights in half board:
the gigantic problem is that the structure is on the main road so the noise of passing cars (at full speed because it is downhill) does not allow you to sleep. Also missing shutters, from 5 too much light comes in!
But the room and bathroom were comfortable, the small balcony was shared with another room.
The dinner food was delicious: portions not large but often presented as scenic gourmet dish .Bisogna go to dinner in another distant and a little uncomfortable to reach Hotel.
You also pay for tap water at dinner, but everyone in the area does, so I think it's normal for them.
The breakfast very well the salty part but for the sweet part there was only a small croissant, not even a sweet but they exhibited in the hotel bar so you had to buy it separately!
The bus stop to move around the area is attached to the hotel which is located on the dam of Lake Zoccolo.
Absent the reception, which is practically a banquet placed next to the bar. The lady only in the check out mentioned a half smile.
Overall it is a good hotel but causes car noise and various means would not recommend it.

Once and that’s enough
I would like to note here that I find it very disappointing that you travel to a hotel where dogs are allowed and then at breakfast you are told: we don't like seeing dogs in the dining room????
You have to desert to the neighboring hotel for dinner, which is not good for walking, especially for older people, due to the distance and the incline! We with the dog had to eat in the basement in a separate room with no windows together with families with small children!!! !!!! You feel like second-class citizens!!!! We pay and the same for the dog!!!
The traffic is terrible because the hotel is right on the street! There is nothing about that in the description, I read it again!!! It's nerve-wracking!!
Overall, it should be noted that this is only for hikers, climbers or paragliders! Or skiers in winter!

Da migliorare molto
Stati primasettimana di agosto. Positiva pulizia stanze e cibo. Negativo assenza di una sala comune. Praticamente colazione e letto. Non c’è modo di stare in hotel. Si mangia altrove e non c’è ascensoore. Quindi se avete molte cose tipo passeggini o valigioni è dura. Comunque gentilissima il personale a tavola e prezzo equo. Dovrebbero avvertire che non ė un albergo ma un affittacamere. Il mercoledi tutto sbarrato. Posizione periferica. Bus pero’ ottimi.

...sosta per pranzo? Anche no...
Siamo due coppie, stiamo cercando un posto dove fermarci per pranzo a ridosso della diga del lago di Zoccolo e l’hotel "Seerast" sembra fare al caso nostro...ci viene incontro una signora sorridente e alla mano che, dopo aver unito due tavolini esterni, posti sotto un tendone che ripara dal sole, ci fa accomodare, ci porge il menu e ci spiega i piatti che suscitano la nostra curiosità.
Mentre le caserecce di pane del contadino – fatte in casa e condite con sugo di selvaggina (12,00 EUR) – hanno il loro perché grazie al sapore forte e deciso della carne che compone il ragù, i maccheroni alla pastora (10,00 EUR) sono un primo piatto senza pretese, una proposta senza senso, assemblato male con ingredienti che non regalano sapori e aromi.
Con due litri di acqua minerale e tre caffè, il conto è corretto, ma non siamo soddisfatti...aldilà del bel sorriso della signora, meglio evitare una sosta per pranzo.

Buon hotel confortevole, stanze ampie e pulite,personale gentile e disponibile.Colazione a buffet varia e abbondante sia salato che dolce, ampia scelta di bevande,dolci e frutta.Prezzi medi.La struttura ammette animali domestici.
