Short break in Ultental

We already knew the Hotel Ortler, because years ago we were allowed to use the swimming pool as out-of-house guests and also had dinner there.
Now we also wanted to spend a few days there.
All in all, our stay was pleasant. Breakfast offers a good selection from sweet to savoury, fruit, cereal, eggs......I think everyone should find it here.
There is a breakfast dining room and a second for dinner.
The breakfast room is nicer and more pleasant as the tables are further apart and you can enjoy a nicer view.
At dinner there are 5 courses. Start with salad and antipasti from the buffet, followed by a hot starter, main course and dessert. You can choose between 2-3 different options. The food was always good in taste, but our dinner years ago was a lot better as out-of-home guests.
We lacked a little the typical Tyrolean cuisine, which we love so much and appreciate at Ultental.
The tables at dinner were too close for us, a little more distance would be more pleasant. In addition, all the food smell moves from the kitchen into the dining room.
The wellness area is small but beautifully made.
You will receive a very friendly welcome as a guest and you try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Excellent hotel

Excellent hotel. We were there in July. You can see the experience of the hoteliers who manage it: welcome, courtesy, availability, kindness of all the staff, ability to solve every guest's need. Added to this is the impeccable cleanliness of every room, welcoming rooms where nothing is missing, excellent cuisine with commendable service, a very convenient location, parking for cars, a beautiful garden in which to relax and a pleasant and very quiet environment. Having tried other hotels in Val d'Ultimo, this one certainly has an edge.

Great hotel

I stayed here for 4 nights to go hiking. Clean rooms, helpful staff, awesome food. Located in a beautiful valley about 45 minutes from Merano. Great location for hiking. Ski area nearby that I would come back for. W-LAN costs 4 Euro/hr.

L'hotel si trova in val d'Ultimo,una valle autentica,lontana dal turismo di massa. Personale giovane e gentilissimo, attento ad ogni richiesta.Cibo curato: colazione con prodotti non confezionati e di qualità. L' hotel ha una bella piscina e un piccolo e curato centro benessere. Che dire :consigliatissimo per chi voglia trascorrere una vacanza in val d'Ultimo.
