Very elegant structure with spacious and clean rooms. Very kind and courteous staff. Very beautiful pool. Compliments.

Wonderful and heavenly

I travel a lot and I can assure you this place is not to be missed!
Spacious and very clean rooms, fridge with a small freezer drawers inside, breakfast is served buffet style, not to mention the very varied cakes prepared every day by Daniela, the pool clean and well kept. Too bad the outdoor shower does not work! Congratulations to Juan for handling the property.
For the rest what to say that Daniela and Valeria are there to care for you, they keep cleaning and at the same time being very vigilant with a smile to satisfy the customers , bravo to them , what would this place be without them!!!! A big thank you will come back to us.

two weeks at Villa Mamiré

We had 13 nights at Villa Mamiré. We are mother-tongue English, live in Switzerland so speak German. Daniela was very friendly and warm but our lack of Italian was a little difficult although we learned quite a lot quite quickly. Valeria spoke good German so that was fine. The room was good as was the pool area. The daily breakfast was also good. The pool was lovely. Thank goodness we had a car as it soon became apparent we needed one. The nearest beach was a 10 minute walk but rocky and not the best. The town of Torré san Giovanni was a 20 minute walk. We walked into town and back every evening for food. The town itself was a bit disappointing - a bit shabby really. We did find some good restaurants however and the (sea)food and wine were fantastic. We drove to different beaches most days. The beaches were also amazing - clear waters and lovely sand. Our room was not serviced at all during our stay which was a little disappointing - I think because we had booked for 2 weeks and weren't really bed and breakfast guests which is really what the placed in geared up for.

Terrifying.

Terrifying experience. We arrived at the property, entered the apartment immediately looks non-compliant with the photos, the bedroom shutters were broken and there was no mosquito net. We overlook what we see and decide to go to the pool, to the very pleasant view but surrounded by colonies of ants, I try to open the outdoor shower and it does not work, I approach the pool and the bottom was full of bird droppings. We go back to the room and the air conditioner was no longer working, in short, infested with mosquitoes because we had to open the window. Last but not least the double bed was hard as concrete, so we spent a night in white. Obviously no milk for lactose intolerant people and decaf or barley coffee. The only positive note the reception lady very helpful and kind. We paid 110€ plus the extra for the mini dog, I think a very expensive amount for such an apartment. Never to go back!

Local family host, very friendly and nice. The swimming pool is also very nice. I think the highlight is the friendliness of Daniela and Arianna.
Private parking was very easy.
Notes: No safe in the room. You need a car to move around, in particular at night! Short drive to beaches though, and we always found parking as early June so not too tourist-busy (can’t comment for say July/August).
