Arriving it looks like a simple hotel, anpeive parking not too big but nice, super nice and personal reception. Room nice clean and super good bed. The view breathtaking!

Very poor front desk experience

The hotel view is absolutely stunning. But, unfortunately, this is not enough for the rates applied and the service expected for a 4-star hotel..from far! I wish to highlight how poor is the welcome desk experience. Hardly a "hello and welcome". This attitude had continued during our entire stay: unable to provide any advice on local restaurants, tips and tricks or openings during 15August (local BH). Last but not least, the front desk ignore me when I said "goodbye". Please respect your guests with some basics...starting with being polite. All in all, this has given us a bitter feeling.

Lovely place

We spent at the Rieviera&Maximilian's hotel wonderful 2 weeks. Sea view was breathtaking. The service at the hotel and the hotel restaurant was excellent.
We'd love to come back here again ❤️

A Wanna-Be 4-Star Hotel

The hotel’s greatest strengths are its excellent location, beautiful sea views, lovely terrace, the renovated sun loungers and beach area, and the friendly staff. These features made our stay enjoyable and are the main reasons I cannot rate the hotel lower.
Unfortunately, the overall experience fell well short of what I expect from a four-star hotel.
Our room in the newer wing never cooled down properly. Although it had air conditioning and the thermostat could not be set lower than 20°C, the actual temperature felt much closer to 24°C, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
The bathroom also showed signs of inadequate maintenance, with moldy silicone seals in the shower, dirty grout, and a broken pedal on the bathroom bin. One particularly odd detail was that housekeeping appeared to “seal” the end of the toilet paper roll with water every day, leaving nearly half the roll damp.
Breakfast was average at best. The buffet layout was surprisingly illogical: for example, tea bags and teapots were placed several metres away from the hot water station. After around 9:30 a.m., many items started to run out and were often not replenished, even though breakfast was served until 10:30. The breakfast dishes felt low quality. The cereal bowls ran out every morning without being replaced.
This hotel has great potential thanks to its location, but it lacks the attention to detail, maintenance, and service that distinguish a genuine four-star hotel. At the moment, it feels more like a hotel aspiring to be four-star than one that truly delivers the experience.
Most importantly, the value for money simply isn’t there. Paying over €500 per night for this level of comfort and clenluness is hard to justify. At this price point, I expected a genuine four-star experience, but unfortunately, the hotel did not deliver.
