Perfect and convenient location... and not just that

We stayed for one night to visit Treviso and to go for a bike ride.
It is just a few steps from the center, nice room (it is well soundproofed).
Polite and very helpful staff.
Good breakfast.
It is recommended to reserve a parking spot.

Underwhelming but Treviso is good enough to be worth some compromises.

After a long search we settled on Porta Altinia Suites. We would have preferred a higher spec hotel, but Treviso is limited if you want to stay within a comfortable walk of the Centre. This venue is certainly conveniently located between Train Station and the town. Perhaps because of that, it can be a bit rowdy as evening closes in. We witnessed a fight on the bridge over the river, nothing serious but punches and a head thrown.
The room, a Junior Suite was as pictured in the website, sparsely furnished but the en-suite was newly refurbed. It was like a setting for an Edward Hopper painting.
The room did the job and was fine for two nights. Staff at reception friendly and helpful.

Great location, right between railway station and start of the walled town. In fact the Suites are part of the walls and a gate.
Hotel Carlton is a basic business hotel. Bar is really a room with waiter service. Nobody else there when we had a nightcap.
Room very clean but a bit plain - think a setting for a Hopper painting.
Probably a bit pricey for what you get.
Treviso is cute/pretty.

Excellent place to stay, very convenient location close to downtown Treviso, Train station to go to Venice and more. All walking distance.

Good resource

Located just outside the city centre, it is an annex to the nearby carlton hotel, with which it shares reception, breakfast room and parking (book it if you want to make sure you find a place for your car). New and functional room. They leave a little to be desired the products for the bathroom and the canvas of the same. Breakfast just enough while the staff is friendly and helpful.
