The best stay of our 3 week trip...felt like staying with friends

Wow...the most amazing view of the mountains from this location with parking onsite, and just 5 minutes from the town, with sundeck, chaise lounges etc to enjoy at day's end. And the breakfast on the terrace had the amazing mountain view! And this helpful couple with much advice and with suggestions of where to go in the town and nearby including Atri which we never had heard of and was so interesting. Karin and Peter were so warm and helpful that we felt like we stayed with friends for these 3 nights.

Goal: return as soon as possible!

Lovely place, Peter and his sweetheart know how to make you feel at home in a corner of paradise in the hills of Abruzzo. Swimming pool with views of the Gran Sasso, spotless and spacious rooms, hearty breakfasts and for all palates. Super recommended for all those who want to find some serenity from the hustle and bustle of life.

A breath of fresh air

I went there with a friend for a yoga retreat, to rejuvenate, relax and find time for myself, and that is exactly what happened at Casa Amrita. The location was far yet close to civilization, the pool overlooking the mountains and fields was an absolute sight for sore eyes. Ingrid and Marco were amazing hosts, and so was their little friend Leela (their super loving dog)

Simply Perfect!

It was my first Yoga retreat and will surely not be my last. I went last September 2020 during the pandemic and Ingrid and Marco handled the whole experience with such care. The location was excellent with beautiful views of mountains and lots of greenery. The yoga/meditation and teachings were eye opening and very interesting. Ingrid handled each yoga lesson with such passion and dedication. The food (prepared by Marco) was simply to die for. The house was super clean and well taken care of. I would return to Casa Amrita in a heartbeat! Thank you for the wonderful experience and keep it up!

A magical place made by magical people

This was my first yoga retreat, having only started practicing less than a year ago. It far exceeded any expectations I had, mainly because of Ingrid and Marco (and of course their lovely dog Leela!). The house itself is in a beautiful setting with a superb view over the mountains. The food is fantastic - you will never go hungry. The yoga is meaningful, sometimes challenging but always rewarding, I never found myself waiting for the class to be over and time passed without noticing. The additional sessions of meditation, breath work and music were wonderful. They both made us feel at ease regardless of our experience with any aspect of the practice, I’d recommend this to anyone at any stage of their yoga journey. It was a special experience, and I think about it everyday. The price is very reasonable, could not recommend more!
