Great location, a few tidying up bits and could be great

It has great things going for it and just a few extra bits and it would be amazing. Main grumble is rooms are lacking in feel and slightly out dated, also parts of the outer buildings just need a lick of paint. Good things, staff helpful, parking but with a valet company at 25 euros a day. Sky rooftop bar and 15% discount a great place to start your evening. We didnt eat, but had a lovely drink and breakfast was delicious. Room improvements would make this a high recommendation.

We had a fabulous stay with the most spectacular views. We even got to see the Etna eruption which added to our experience. The beds were very comfortable and contributed to our great stay. Thank you to the staff and cleanliness for a memorable experience.

Great location, steps to the main centre. Parking came at a small price but easy access to car to drive out to Mt Etna one day.

Excellent for location - two minutes to the main Corso and with a fabulous terrace overlooking Etna.

We stayed at Hotel Continental Taormina and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was good, offering convenient access to the town, and the staff were amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the rooms fell below expectations. They felt substandard for the price, and the lack of a tea or coffee machine in the room was a noticeable inconvenience — a basic amenity we’d expect at most hotels. Breakfast, while available, felt overpriced for what was on offer.
Overall, the wonderful staff and good location were real positives, but the room quality and breakfast pricing left something to be desired. Worth considering if location and service are your priority, though don’t expect a luxury room experience.
