Our stay at Podere La Strega was really special. Our room was attention to detail and we immediately felt at home. Breakfast, with fresh produce and a family atmosphere, was also an unmissable event. The managers are attentive, kind and ready to help, and this makes the experience even more enjoyable. It is a place that has given us tranquility and good memories: we recommend it wholeheartedly.

Beautiful structure immersed in the green countryside of Siena in an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. Good location with Distance from parking S.Francesco 4km.L'host proved immediately friendly and helpful. The room that was reserved for us (lavender) offered in the background the beautiful Siena (photo) only flaw in the cleanliness we found a bit of dust and pillow covers with hair and dirty (photo). Breakfast both sweet and savory with the owner who made us find cakes drinks and cakes made at the time. On a positive note the flexibility of the time of entry and exit. All in all a good experience, recommended for short stays in Siena.

A stunning location to try out an Agriturismo hotel!
This was an extraordinary place to stay and I wish I could go back again very soon! The building dates back to the 1600s and is run by the very sweet Letizia. The breakfast is good with yogurt, croissants, juice, coffee, eggs, cheese and sliced meats as well as cereal so lots of options. The view from the breakfast room and from the yard is gorgeous - looking out over Siena which is also a good view for sunsets. We were a bit early in the season but I would love to come back here when it is a couple of degrees warmer to enjoy the beautiful outdoor sitting areas. Such a stunning property! There are two sitting rooms inside that guests can enjoy or gather in. There is also free parking which is nice. The long driveway (road) to get to the property is enchanting as well. To get to Siena (a parking lot from where you can walk) takes only a few minutes. Letizia has lots of suggestions about restaurants, wineries, etc which was helpful as well and she gave us a coupon for a free wine tasting which was fantastic! We would definitely come back.

Beautiful rustic hotel with exceptional views of Siena. The property has a swimming pool and is located near to Siena
This wonderful hotel is what you would expect on the outskirts of Siena. It has a beautiful rustic feel about the place with lovely decorated rooms with traditional Italian furniture, large beds, and the rooms do have air conditioning. It is a family run hotel and with that you get a warm family feeling from the staff and the owners.
There is a swimming pool with more than enough sunbeds and the lawns and garden just make the lay down area relaxing.
We had bed and breakfast which was served in a lovely outside shaded area next to the kitchen. The breakfast was mostly home made produce with various meats bread cheese and eggs, more than enough.
There is a relaxation area both inside and outside the premises and a communal fridge and cooking area if you fancy making a meal,
There is a short cut walk into Siena which will take you about 25 mins, half of the walk is downhill and the other half is mostly up hill until you arrive in the main square.
Letitia and her staff could not do enough for us. My Daughter was getting married nearby and they found out the gave us a bottle of Champagne. So kind.
I would love to think we could return to this place in the future.

Stunning authentic hotel
We have been blown away by how stunning and authentic this place is. It’s peaceful, beautiful and I haven’t slept this well for a long time.
It’s about 15/20 € in a taxi into Siena and they are easy to get. The hotel ordered ours going out last night and we got one home from the taxi rank no problem.
Everything is homemade for breakfast. If you are looking for a relaxing Italian break book this place x
